Went to the Lakeside a couple of years ago (was so bad it was good!). They spent hours selling raffle tickets at £5 a strip (I bought two strips), and put the winning numbers up on the big screen at half time. 5 winning tickets and mine was one of them. Presumed I'd be in for a big cash bonus.
Had to go and collect my prize from the reception area. It was an envelope with a £20 note in it Only just covered the cost of the ticket, and wasn't enough for the cab home!!  |
