I hope D&B has similar thoughts |

waites will win today lads, big bet from me
By:
yeh agree, cant see how waites can lose really unless he chucks a shocker, smith cant do a 95 averages for 10+ sets
By:
waites cant lose this i agree but been wrong before
By:
hes used of the stage more also , huge advantage

Scott Waites for me tonight as well, think he will win it comfortably .. 7-3 or 7-4

I think you lot are in for a surprise if you think waites wins this easily.
de vos bottled it to allow him to win so did durrant who traded 1.01 then hughes had a day off smith battered wolfie got past dawson without fuss struggled with harbours pace but won easily in the end then beat the new kid on the block veenstra and sealed it with a ten darter. I see a ding dong final here and Smith at 3 times the price of waites is the value without a doubt I have several bad memories of lumping on Waites at skinny odds.....bad bad business. |

Laynplay - fair enough assessment mate...I think we're all under the impression that Waites is the same player he used to be when in reality, he's not shown what he can really do for a few years.
I just don't think Smith can raise his game to match the BEST of Waites but who's to say he's gonna produce that? |

All over Waites here as well. Think he wins comfortably - should score more maxes as well. Hence taken a punt on the match treble (win, high check, and most 180s) as well.
By:
Waites has always been better than most of his opponents but has had mixed results...and he is a happy loser...he will almost certainly trade much bigger in running as he will either start well and let him back in or start badly....not to mention the shoulder which may or may not be a problem.

bringing it up because he has had a serious operation which so far hasnt been a problem at all....should be fine but its not beyond comprehension that 12 or 13 sets wont cause him problems.
sith plus 2.5 sets is a far better bet at 1.7 than waites to win at less than 1.6. |

Since waites had his shoulder injury earlier in 2015 hes made 4 finals , he was playing fooked Waites is on the floor |
