What has Lewis average been in his previous games.
Is he playing well enough to brush the erratic Caven aside with the minimum of fuss? |

Quarter Finals - The business end...
Caven 10/3 v 2/7 Lewis Some big hitters will be steaming into Lewis today, mainly due to not rating Jabba on the box. Plenty of forumites regularly slate the bloke, so now's your chance to grow a pair and pay for christmas in one hit? C'mon Jabba. Jenkins 4/6 v 6/4 Newton Jenks continues to frank his form as a most dogged player when on his game. The infuriation as to why he simply doesn't turn up in finals is frustrating for all to see. (hope you took the 4/1 v mvg). Newton's had a shocker of a season, but had slowly been showing signs of returning to form. Still not back to his best but heading in the right direction, when it looked like he could have easily slipped down the rankings and out of the top 32. Fair play to the Warrior for toughing it out. Jenks for me, with his mental aptitude to really dig and get the job done. Hoping to see his face reddening and steam coming out of his ears. Then we know he's on it. Winstanley 15/13 v 10/11 van der Voort A dream draw for both players (and Taylor, should he put Ando back in his pocket). Here's another two players who's form has improved at the business end of the season. Vincent is too hit and miss for my liking, and never a player i get involved with as a punting prospect. Deano "real men wear pink," is another player who's offered plenty but has failed to deliver time and time again. Back into some cracking form, but a real tough one to call. I'm on the fence, but at a push - Deano to shade it. Anderson 9/4 v 5/12 Taylor What a match up! Taylor v King in last night's 2nd round match was a good old tare up. Once again Taylor proved his worth and no doubt thrived on the challenge Merv gave him. The man is 100% focused and on top of his game. Anderson took care of Bunting last night, but still showed a flaw to his game that doesn't happen in floor events - The added pressure of the tv stage when it matters. (Maybe a bit harsh). Though Ando's one of the game's great scorers i feel Taylor is bang on his game and will win. The only surprise was seeing taylor available @ 1/2 in the dead of the night. P.S. Just checked the stats - Looks like being a cracker. Thanks Phil, for the pun. Selections Lewis to win - no bet Jenkins to win @ 4/6 1pt Deano to win - no bet Taylor to win - no bet |

Ab,
i sing jabba'a praises, mainly from seeing how good he is in money comps (wish his likes would feck off and stop winning "pocket money" as they call it, and depriving us lower graders of a decent pay day). Jabba is still to convince at the business end on tv, and his post match interview following his win over thorn showed cracks that surprised me in the bloke. Lewis looks a good thing but i'm happy to watch and play other markets in running. Good luck to you lumpers on Lewis ![]() |

Caven looks mercurial on the box, by that i mean he can look out of this world for a few legs and then starts
missing big numbers never mind doubles. Away from the tv i would bet he takes out high finish after high finish. No doubt today will be the day where he puts it all together on the box. ![]() |
