It's like the good old days when Taylor traded in the outrights @ 4/6 for tv events, at a time when most of the field were cannon fodder for him back then.
The way Taylor's playing, i don't see anyone in his half of the draw getting near to him. The main dangers are in the other half of the draw, with the potential to turn Taylor over in the final. The format's a bit too short for my liking, and for that reason i'm backing Taylor to reach the final.
I know it's a danger backing odds on shots, but at least you know Taylor will be trying.
Phil Taylor to reach the masters final @ 8/13.

I think they could've made tonight's 8 games the first to reach 8 (instead of 6 which is over far too quickly) if they cut out much of the nonsense & adverts and also had tomorrow's quarters the first to 10.
The same with the semis & final on Sunday getting an extended play.
The Grand Prix used to have four games on one night with the winner being first to get FOUR sets...it's easily manageable.

Warriner just said there's a break after FIVE legs That's shíte!
One small benefit of a best of 11 (recently in the Premier League) is that they fcuked the adverts off...this needs reviewing

a bitofinterest 19:41 "all those hours trawling through the formbook dnb"
Indeed bito! Haha
There's no doubting the way to make money is to lay both players at prohibited odds. Newton traded @ 1.19 at 5-4 up. Pipe as low as 1.3
Barney and the Scotland factor = Banker material? Chisnall totally bottled it against Taylor, which could still playing on his mind. Especially as he then played in the online tourny, finishing bottom of the league! (8 players) Last match on too - Perfect for old man Dutchie with a wild crowd cheering him on.

Good point Treble...he often looks TOO relaxed and for once the commentators have got this spot on as he does seem to be on 'auto-pilot' - great stuff from both so far.

Just got home from this and not sure if it came over on tv but it was lucky if it was half full.
Stewards were extremely quick to move in for any signs that were a bit dodgy (tho a boy at my table did put Kate & Gerry - Guilty!)
We were about 10 feet from the front and must have been on the screen about a dozen times. Atmosphere was pretty muted though probably not helped by some very average matches. Lewis match was best by far and he actually got treated very well unlike hamilton who definitely let the crowd get to him. Even Thornton apologised to him after the match about it.
All in all a decent laugh but I much prefer having the crack on here

You have to hand it to the crafty advertising/marketing teams...they highlight every bit of fanny at the darts but when I went to the Premier League, it was totally 'bloked out' - all the gash must have knew I was going

...And to think in an earlier post i mistook the walk on chicklet for Nicola [Cowell] when as pointed out it was Wade's girl. Obviously bigger boned than Nicola

I was sat beside a big chap with a Whitlock hat on. The commentary team seemingly remarked that the big fella is certainly enjoying himself
As for wade's missus even more stunning in the flesh. The boys I was with couldn't believe he was actually engaged to her

Indeed Hibee. The big lad was shown a few times, and as you've pointed out on here, you play golf (i take it you aren't the size of John Daly) I shall take a look and see if i can spot ya

From left to right of the giant in the whitlock hat on the tv screen:
On the right there's baldy in the white t shirt. Also a bouncy fella in dark shirt/long sleeves.
To the left/behind, is a chap in checked shirt/glasses. Opposite the giant is a bloke in a plain green t shirt, and next to him a bloke in mvg shirt/glasses.
The clue is "I was sat beside a big chap with a Whitlock hat on." I'll leave it up to others to decide
It's actually a good bit of footage.

Ha ha ha DnB. I was on the same side as the 2 guys in the green shirts. The clue might be that I was actually trying to watch the darts when most folk were trying to get on telly

Haha. They've panned back a couple of times to near where you're sitting with no sign of the giant in the hat. "Leaning against the bar perhaps
BTW It's 3-3 legs apiece so i'll keep looking for a dodgy scorecard

Hmmmm...dark blue polo shirt with a white strip across the middle? He looks enthralled by the darts. That's quite enough or it could be deemed as stalking. Back to pdc updates from Wigan

"jimmy two times." But which film is he associated with? I'm off to walk my daughter's dog so i'll have a think about it.
C'mon Hibee, what's yer thoughts for tonight's semi finals (and don't say you're saving your write ups for the world champs, and your legion of fans)

Jimmy two times from Good Fella's? Why's he called JTT, "cos he says everything twice." Joe Pesci? holds the record for the most swear words in a movie. "How the **** am i funny? Do i amuse you?....." Great restaurant scene
I'm on a barney v taylor final. Not bothered either way as long as taylor gets in the final to cop my bet, or it's bread and jam for the week.
Ian White's playing Andy Jenkins in the pro tour final. Providing White wins i'll be able to toast my bread.
