As for Anderson...that mini-revival from around September (with his new shirts) has faded and he seems to have reverted back to the player of the previous year or so.

Lewis...SO difficult to know what he'll do, as on form, he'll be savaged by Whitlock but he dragged the MVG performances (world champ's) from nowhere and was perplexing to watch last week...totally shíte throughout, then bangs in 5 maxes in 3 legs and just misses a nine darter!

He's my favourite player but something is seriously amiss...maybe it's his demanding fanny, or maybe it's a mental thing because when he snookered himself to go 3-1 up, the game was up!

Whitlock was balls too and won in the workmanlike style of a lazy horse just doing enough...he was there for the taking tonight, and I expected better from him.

Ain't even had a bet tonight as I think the format is far too short for shocks and the odds aren't representative of the perceived value.

I think MVG has a solid temperament but you never know how he will react to the cauldron until he's in it...I expected Thornton & Newton to struggle and although The Thorn got over the line, he DID feel the pressure, and Wes did exactly what I thought he would...in giving it to Wade - he should be gutted he's been beaten by a geezer throwing an 87 average!

I'll NEVER forget that Taylor likes to prove a point with these big hitters and he smashed Anderson a couple of years ago on the maxes, because he WANTED to!
I reckon he NEEDED to prove to everyone he could hit them better than anyone, and as he's cost me a fortune over the years, I do my best to avoid backing against Taylor in ANY market!

typical really havent had a bet all week , decided to p1ss about in 50 quids , layed hamilton,layed newton in the overrs aver market , layed barney in match odds but backed him back during the game as he was playing better than ando even when he was losing to win a pint of beer instead of doing the 50 sovs, then laid whitlock in the under 96.5 v market , so not put a foot wrong and not really winning a rub of soap.taylors gone from 1.8 to 2.2 to av 99.5, ill stick wityhh bet tho.it will just be nice to put a little cop in the book.if this bet cops i think ill be dead even for the year to within pennies(wasted life eh/)
