Pykey's voice is becoming even more grating with every stint in the commentary box...I didn't think it was possible.
His face matches the dullness of his voice as well, though thankfully we don't get to see it too often. I wonder how many times tonight he'll roar the word 'HUGE'? Anyone recognise that referee? Used to be in the BDO and was a Countdown Champion...one of the best of the last 30 years! |

The only Countdown champ I can recall was CONOR from around 6 or 7 years ago when Des L was at the helm.

Connor Travis is one of the last 16 in the Countdown 30th anniversary championship of champions...as is Kirk Bevins (the ref) - who I think doubles as a teacher too!

I don't like Kirky's 180 call at all...hardly a replacement for Bruce Spendley!
I wouldn't mind getting a price on him for the Countdown competition going on at the moment...bookies don't give money away and he's probably favourite. He's wasted as a referee...AND a teacher! |
