Some shorties on day 1 but just for a slice of value im backing Denmark at odds against to beat South africa.
Skybet are also odds against that it's an England v Netherlands final which seems fair to me

What a stupid rule that the pairings had to be declared BEFORE going for the bull!

I completely agree with Rod in that Kim HAD TO play two of the first three games...maybe the Belgians have blown their beans Sad
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:30 PM GMT
Have Mardle and Rod finished making a meal of the analysis of losing three from four games yet?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:31 PM GMT
Oh, apparently not.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:31 PM GMT
Who has bull in what game?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:31 PM GMT
Rod has the bull in every game. (not sure)
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:32 PM GMT
I think Taylor has the bull in game four, but not certain.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:33 PM GMT
I think Ronny has the throw in both his. So I probably do agree with Rod actually, best off giving Kim bull in both and looking to take them in doubles with bull there too.
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 9:33 PM GMT
Are we ALL wanting the Belgians to beat these lucky fcukers?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:33 PM GMT
If you give the bull away then England would get it in the doubles though.

and yes NG, I am at least.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:33 PM GMT
If I had bet England I would gladly lose.
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:34 PM GMT
If they're right it's for the wrong reasons silverback.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:35 PM GMT
i stopped listening when i decided to work it out myself without even knowing the rules
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 9:35 PM GMT
Got to be the ONLY country in the world where that would happen...I couldn't imagine a single Belgian wanting Taylor & Lewis to win this.
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:35 PM GMT
I dunno, Nicho plays for Australia ;)
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:37 PM GMT
I wonder if it's tactical genius on a par with Mervyn King giving Taylor the throw in that Premier League semi (first to 10, win by one is fine). King won of course.
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:37 PM GMT
I forgot about that one.
Report PHILthePOWER • February 3, 2013 9:39 PM GMT
I think Belgium will sneak this in the doubles match.

Taylor & Lewis not getting on well
Report Toto82 • February 3, 2013 9:41 PM GMT
There wont be a doubles match I feel
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 9:41 PM GMT
Anyone reckon that Ronny Huybrechts has a slight look of Jon Voight?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:47 PM GMT
Phil will be sitting at home later in the week thinking about how he did his country proud.... and we all want him to lose.
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 9:51 PM GMT
I don't know HTF they've made the final as South Africa, Japan & Wales ALL had darts to beat them...and should've done so!
It'd have been far more interesting if they'd bitten the dust...you just know they'll find their top game when there's a sniff of the trophy - even Lewis!
Report RMB © • February 3, 2013 9:52 PM GMT
These guys couldn't miss a thing in the final match against Finland, now they're bottling it.
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:52 PM GMT
Did Japan have darts to beat them, or just a visit for a checkout?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:52 PM GMT
I guess if you count the first game they did
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 9:54 PM GMT
1 minute Lewis not done a lot wrong in 1st leg and 30 secs later he has contributed to his own downfall?? make your mind up FFS
Report RMB © • February 3, 2013 9:54 PM GMT
Site gone down for me thankfully. Losing too much as it is! :(
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 9:55 PM GMT
I might be mistaken Lori...was it darts to got 3-1 and then have the throw to win it?
I can't remember but they would've traded odds-on for sure.
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:55 PM GMT
Yeah, think it was what you said.

They traded about 1.85 I think.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:56 PM GMT
I can confirm they did....
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:57 PM GMT
england a lay here. ronny isn't without a chance in the next here, and kim in the mood to do taylor if he remotely dips
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 9:58 PM GMT
Annoying that they'll take this as proof that the order was wrong, no matter what happens.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 9:59 PM GMT
isn't it proof the order is right?
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 10:00 PM GMT
I think so personally
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:00 PM GMT
i.e. kim cannot be beaten by anyone ever regardless of throwing first or second.
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 10:00 PM GMT
Lewis playing utter shíte...Ronny (despite being crap against Taylor) knows he's gonna be playing a 'shell' of a player - it could be Taylor that needs a result against Kim to have the doubles shoot-out!
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 10:01 PM GMT
Yeah, I'm pretty sure their thinking would have been that he beats Lewis whatever happens, and as you said, you don't want Ronnie throwing in the last match.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:01 PM GMT
i'm still not sure who chose what to be honest
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:02 PM GMT
we'll probably find out it means ronny has to chuck first every leg in the doubles
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:03 PM GMT
talking of which, has anyone ever switched throwing order at start of different legs? presumably you can.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:04 PM GMT
Oh, Lewis does the bow to everyone, not just the Japs!
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 10:04 PM GMT
I don't think you can, but could be wrong.
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:05 PM GMT
Maybe confused because he was playing Kim
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 10:05 PM GMT

the brothers that is
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:12 PM GMT
Dont think anyone could argue the brothers have been the best team by a mile. Taylor's just completely carried Lewis all weekend and got away with people missing doubles to knock em out
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:12 PM GMT
20 yrs they said on friday Silver

Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 10:15 PM GMT
How does Lewis drag darts like that out from nowhere?
Unbelievable Shocked

Like the MVG performance last month...from nowhere!
Report Lori • February 3, 2013 10:15 PM GMT
Still trying to work out how Winstanley hit a 9 darter whilst playing like Scott Mitchell
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:15 PM GMT

Report Lori • February 3, 2013 10:17 PM GMT
They should have put Kim up against the 110 Lewis and Ronnie up against the 83 Lewis
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:17 PM GMT
i'm not sure any team / player has ever peeved me off quite as much in so many matches in the same tournament
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:18 PM GMT
Not hit a ton hardly all weekend and now hits 5 maxes in 6 legs
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:20 PM GMT
Honestly thought Ronny had him there
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:21 PM GMT
at 2v1 I thought he'd gone then hits 5 maxes in 3 legs
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 10:23 PM GMT
Lewis is just a fcukin' weirdo!

That performance in defeat against MVG was excellent (and showed loads of bottle) and that was after he'd played shíte in three games!
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:28 PM GMT
when belgium win this we'll be making comparisons between England and Kirk Shepherd's run to the world final
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:32 PM GMT
I don't understand how any neutrals in the audience can be cheering Taylor right now
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:36 PM GMT
Taylors that good that he basically won the tournament whilst carrying a 20st passenger
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:38 PM GMT
Gold medals? Is it the olympics???
Report Howdi • February 3, 2013 10:39 PM GMT

Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:39 PM GMT
If I was Lewis I'd be embarrassed to celebrate
Report Navel-Gazer • February 3, 2013 10:39 PM GMT
Medals, trophy and most important, the title of...

What about the fcukin' money? Shocked
Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:39 PM GMT
If Lewis hadn't had that ridiculous surge I fancy Kim would have gone much closer. Can't imagine his emotions were much different to those punters like me who were on Belgium and starting to get excited.
Report happyhibee • February 3, 2013 10:39 PM GMT

Report the silverback • February 3, 2013 10:40 PM GMT

I watched the England/Wales doubles game again and Webster can clearly be heard saying '****s' as he was taking his darts out of the board - I don't think he was talking about Taylor & Lewis for a change, but probably a few gobshítes that had escaped from one of the Premier League venues.

In their defence, the German crowds are usually very respectful.
Report Navel-Gazer • February 4, 2013 1:32 PM GMT

Report DartsnBooze • February 4, 2013 4:23 PM GMT
The extra singles matches gave England a big advantage in the final, and a shame the Huybrechts never got to play Taylor & Lewis in the pairs, for which i could have been swimming in belgium chocolate if they'd pulled it off!

P.S. Some of the odds in the early rounds i.e. the best of 9 legs doubles were crazy and i'd be amazed if anyone lost money on the overall tourney. Roll on the Premier League Happy

P.P.S. Two horses never made it home today Sad
