Some shorties on day 1 but just for a slice of value im backing Denmark at odds against to beat South africa.
Skybet are also odds against that it's an England v Netherlands final which seems fair to me

Opening round is a doubles match - Best of 9 legs, where anything could happen.

I'm on Australia and Belgium. Shame they're set to clash in last 16 or 1/4's.
Also had a nibble on host nation Germany.

1st round - Best of nine legs 501 Doubles.
Last 16 - Best of nine legs 501 Doubles.

1/4 final - Two best of seven leg 501 Singles matches.
If it's one Singles match apiece, a best of seven leg 501 Doubles match will be played to decide the tie.

Semi final - Format same as 1/4's.

Final - The Final will be played as four best of seven leg 501 Singles matches, with both nations nominating the order in which their players play the first two matches, and then Reverse Singles following, In the event of both nations
winning two Singles matches apiece, a best of seven leg 501 Doubles match will be played to decide the tie.

Yep definitely putting more value on singles. Was it not 1pt for a singles win and 2 for a doubles previously meaning the doubles match always got played?

Hi Scarecrow,

I'm swerving England. No value at all @ 13/8.

i agree with lori as well its a shame they have done away with mugs away as it kept it more interesting and gave more chance of a shock early doors.

Its obvious all the changes made are to try and eliminate any shocks and get all the big boys through though

yes hh i suppose that would suit sky and the promoters of the event just fine if the big boys get through for the hype factor.
