they know they are the best team in the world.
![]() They will probably decide to win the first match to keep the natives back home happy, just like in the t20s. then the fun can begin. |

Adrian Lewis 100.80
Michael van Gerwen 102.73 How many times have both players averaged 100+ ? |
|
By:
It's not massively uncommon (might be the first this world's) but usually reserved for when Taylor destroys someone and they don't throw at doubles.

Too slow Joe
![]() Just reading that of the 37 legs played tonight 18 darts was the worst to win any of them and MVG hit 178 treble 20's! |
|
By:
2009 final: Taylor 110.94; Barney 101.18.
|
|
By:
18 darts the worst leg
![]() thats pretty sick |
|
By:
Mental considering the missed doubles too
|
|
By:
Just shows that the old saying stands; '180's for show, doubles for the dough'
When Lewis had two darts for the match he was at his peak and was 1/5, brave men who put that up at that time, he was flying and imo would of won his 3rd title if he hit checked out! |

Van Gerwen as a 17 year old:
(107.85) Michael van Gerwen 7-6 Martin Adams (106.89) Every leg 15 darts or less (only 13 legs though) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIqY9-rQmQ0 |
