Re - Whitlock often leaving 170...it's far easier hitting that than 167, so maybe other players should take note.
I've noticed he likes 164 too which he attempts with two T19's...it's common sense really. It'll catch on in the end...just like the 25/bull route the Dutch (primarily) prefer...even the odd 5 off invariably leaves a two dart finish instead of a 101 - with one dart left on 121 it makes sense. It surprises me that with one dart left on 101, players don't always go for T19 as a single leaves a handy 82, which almost guarantees a shot at a double as opposed to the bull. |

This song always reminds me of when I was on holiday with my mate in Zante in 2001. We backed Philippoussis for Wimbledon and watched him get to the final. Every night we played this song in honour of the aussie and then watched him get beat by Federer. I actually remember saying I think hes a cert this Federer has never won anything anyway!  |
