been a shocking standard in this match so far.  Just had a small bet on newton most 180s in play at big odds - hopefully walsh can win this set and kick newton into gear.  Hasn't really had to play well so far.

Other bets for me - Chisnall highest checkout vs whitlock at 6/4 with pp.  Just a stupid price really despite whitlock being money on the big finishes.  Chisnall has been finishing well enough so should get a look at least.  Also VDV -1 on the 180s handicap against wade at 2/1.  Think Wade will win but VDV the more prolific max hitter and reckon he can hit 2 more than Wade today.  Fancy Chisnall win as well against Whitlock.

cheers mate - still not overly confident as newtons first dart not been consistent at all so far.  Has a shout now though so touch wood he kicks on.

I've backed Newton for the outright, 55s was too big, but this is the reason why he probably won't win it. He's talented enought but mentally fragile. He switches off and drops down gears far too often and too easily and will get punished against a better opponent (like Wade).
