 reminds me of a story (my pals a big buddy of wllie thorn), willie was 4 or 5 frames clear only needing 1 more to go thru in an evening match, willie said to my pal go and book the table ill be over soon , my mateand a couple of others got stuck into the popdoms, then ordered the main meal , no sign of willie. they finished the grub went back to the crucible(or whateverthe venue was), meanwhile it was now all square with willie still needing one frame, he lost |

willie was yop ten player, pobably top 5. i think its no secret that willie wasnt the strongest mentally but many worse players have been world champ, joe johnson, graeme dott, several others.my pal and other who have been introducedto willie just say the samee hing , a proper bloke , one of your own.
