lori, alun, howdi et al did any of you get any of the big prices laid on here for the womans rugby,7/1 laid on a 1/3 shot with the bookies,it looks like a major rick by someone.i got some 1.73 on england as there price was still inflated as the lucky ones fought to lay off, laid of at 1.1 now

No mate. Was too busy with other markets, but been reading about the carnage on the Rugby forum. That's a new one I must admit. Thought I'd seen it all on here.
By:
Like everyone else I'm assuming some punter accidentally priced up the 'zero liquidity' Women's match market with the men's prices in error.
By:
12/1 still available apparently.

I didn't see the rugby, sounds hilarious

So Lewis goes number 1 in the world if he beats Taylor tonight.
Quality ranking system. |
By:
Freezing their bowlocks off up there. Thought it would be a cold venue, not a concrete wall in sight. MVG was warming up his fingers before he threw.
By:
yes a 2 year money ranking system is ****
By:
I think Lewis would be number one in a 1 year ranking system too.
My main gripes are the top-heavy "points" for the worlds, the first round losers prize money and I think the overall "points" (pounds) depreciate just a little too quick round by round. |
By:
In essence, I don't see why any ranking system should work off prize money won.
By:
I have always disagreed with prize money dictating rankings.
The tournaments should be tiered. The pro tour events should carry a set points system, while the biggies should be allocated points correlating with their prestige. The problem with the worlds is that it's too easy for the big names to advance to the good money as the early rounds are often easy due to the foreign players being involved. This virtual bye into the second round means that overall the tournament doesn't look much harder than the world matchplay to win. I am only a darts fan, but I guarantee I could set up a much better system than what is currently used. |

Hamilton is the most tedious player in darts
By:
cant stick him at all
By:
Always seem to beat players who you'd like to see play Taylor at their best to give him a good run for his money
By:
Hamilton's a tenacious OVER-achiever I'd say.
By:
As per usual
By:
shouted BOOM at least twice there too, what a ****
By:
He's just a boring player
By:
Hamilton's balls are huge!
Really can't understand why he's so despised! If Taylor beats Lewis then all that work from The Hammer will be for nothing because Taylor's his ARCH Nemesis and he just CANNOT beat him! |
By:
Don't like Hamilton. Any thoughts on Baxter/Whitlock and the other games?
By:
what happened with the rugby mess up ?, just reading scarecrows post
By:
Baxter...a professional flatterer to deceive - he's so reliable in that way

Gourmet darts from Whitlock

Must have averaged nigh on 120 over those 5 legs
By:
That was a bit like Pipe/Dolan that match.
By:
Special performance that.
By:
Nottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!

Ronnie says his missed doubles early on gave Whitlock impotence!
By:
Whitlock was incredibly good in the World's three years ago (in every single round) but even he's just said that was his best TV performance.
By:
Taylor Lewis.....whats your money on? I think taylor will win but is he a bit short? little bet on 10-6 taylor for interest.
By:
Don't often see players go out in 12 darts or less four times in five legs.

Lewis still bending over nicely for the King! Thought he would be up for this because this is the game his son will ask him about when hes older!
By:
Lewis is a bubbly but ditzy lad. Think his head could be elsewhere and rightly so.

By:
Someone wants to lay Taylor!

By:
