Off to Belfast they go for week 3.
Anderson v Wade i feel is a tough 1 to call as neither player are performing anywhere near their peak.I may or may not play in this but if i do,then around 6/4 Wadey draw no bet will do.
Hamilton v Lewis could go close depending on how both players are with the crowd, with that in mind then i'd expect Adey to be too strong tho aren't playing at the prices.I reckon Painter v Whitlock could be alot closer then the bookies think and might have a small bet on Kev and a bit more on the draw no bet at 11/4,seems a  fair enough price all things considered.Barney v Taylor will bring back all the past meetings clips etc and although Barney have rediscovered a bit of form,he has to many mid game dips for him to be considered against Phil, who has to be said, before last weeks heroics, was looking a bit dicey against Painter, but this can go Mr Taylors way with the minimum of fuss and may have a dabble on the handicap on this game.Best of luck all Silly

Anderson's thrown maybe 3 decent legs in the 24 legs he's played so far. Wade might not be on song but even an out of tune Wade **** on the current version of Anderson.

At some stage Anderson might wake up but he's an automatic lay right now.

My interest in the premier league is limited.
I'll be at super league darts tonight so might not get to see much of the action.

My selections this week...
Painter  4-8 Whitlock 13/2
Hamilton 4-8 Lewis 6/1
Anderson 6-8 Wade 15/2
Barney   6-8 Taylor 11/2

acca pays 2,900/1 vc
10p yankee = £1.10 not too greedy Grin

Good luck everyone!

Silverback - that advice about Anderson at the moment just cannot be argued with.
Even if he turns up tonight and finds some form out of the blue, your statement is STILL correct as I see it.

I'm sure we all want to see the best of him but it's just not happening...yet!

D&B - what/where is this super league?
Just for laughs...my 10p Lucky 15 for tonight:

Whitlock 8-3 Painter
Lewis 8-5 Hamilton
Wade 8-6 Anderson
Taylor 8-3 Barney

Warwickshire Super League. It's anything but super! It's the county darts league.

You progress through your county super league to be selected to play for your county. If fortunate enough, you might get to play @ Lakeside in the bdo world champs.

No super league matches tonight as it's the Lakeside qualifiers. (One of many throughout the year?)

Good call on Hamilton most 180s, Lumberg. 2-1 a nice price, seeing as it was 2.4 to lay on here.

Gotta say, after the criticism of Barney & Anderson I posted, I am very pleased to be wrong.

I was so impressed with Barneveld, especially as Taylor broke him in the first leg, with a typical 131 finish (though I predicted 137) and he kept at it, against a 'peak of his powers' Taylor.

He showed tremendous spirit in continuing his recent revival (even though he's just earned two draws from three matches) and things are looking rosier for him.

Moreover, you could tell he was absolutely chuffed with his performance as NOBODY could have stood up to Taylor in that form tonight, and the evidence of this was that he was actually interviewed after a defeat!

Sometimes you just have to stand back and admire your opponent's qualities (without being fearful) and Barney showed some real maturity tonight, which considering his age, should have been evident years ago!

I thought he was due a hammering tonight, and after leg one when he lost his throw, I suspected a massacre was gonna ensue - great to see the old Barney back, and like Painter last week, he should see the positives in his beating instead of being defeatist.

As for Anderson...I just don't know where to start with this geezer...he was sh*te for the first half of the match, then from nowhere, he really turned on the style!

Welcome back guys Wink

PS - I'm getting really tired of the scum that attend the PL matches...pissed up and NEEDING someone to boo!

I was so glad Painter kept his head, as it really was so uncalled for, as was Adie's barracking as well!

Utter morons Cry

The booing is just banter IMO , they shouldn't take it personal.

Loked how they booed Taylor most of the way, started cheering him when the 9 darter was on, then immediatley resumed booing for the 8th dart after the 7th one missed Wink

Last night had something of an exhibition feel to it. Barney urging the crowd on when Taylor was on the 9 darter, those two bumping fists after every leg, Hamilton and Lewis having a good laugh together etc.

If it produces games like the Barney v Taylor one then no problem but I hope the competition, my least favourite of any, retains some sort of competitive edge.
