Froome not being distanced into the climbs in the 1st hard stage, instead SKY going full speed at the beginning of the climbs indicates he is in proper form, but not irresistable. I don't think it's wise to take the burden of the lead so early for the team, as it is not so strong like in the Tour. Being the best in ITT the 3" intermediate sprint bonus wouldn't have been necessary. He is deserved fav now.

Not really been in a position to watch/bet on much of this but what I have seen I like the look of Contador for Stage 16 at 80/1. It's obvious he's back on the beef for this farewell and the time lost in Andorra has all the hallmarks of a bad bag. Now as it's directly after a rest day and without the fear of getting popped I think 80's is far to big.
Can you imagine the furore if Contador gets popped in the final few days of his career? A free pass for the TT IMO. thoughts?

Final racing today Short punchy stage but with the formidable uphill stage-EVEREST!!! Which takes 45 minutes with gradients of 25% Froome got a 90 sec lead Don't fancy the odds for Froome to win-1.1
Will Contador finish on a high?
Or can Nibali spring a surprise?
