If Sky had it there way the break would be 6min in front by now

Did I just spot Majka in the break?
By:
Nope, definitely Kreuziger, not Majka.
By:
lotto what where they doing. all dropped out
By:
They can't send Majka up the road as if he gets over a minute ahead of Contador his radio breaks
![]() Lotto TT'ng backwards off the peloton. |
By:
They had been setting the pace earlier also apparently.
By:
Wellens has dropped out of the break and Pantano is dangling...
By:
Sky must be on the front. Gap going out again
By:
It's still very lupine at the front of the peloton.
By:
Still not sure what they are doing though, unless Kruiswijk is not feeling good.
By:
Maybe Gesink will have a go at bridging across at some stage

Bardet came out yesterday and said that he wants to enjoy winning his races -- says a lot about how good this kid can be when speaking in those terms. He will play smart if he leaves his attack to the descent over the Mollard. The market sensitive to his chances since he was much better value at that critical point yesterday than what he is today, in essentially a large group of riders containing some good climbers and what must be fresher rivals.
Tekman has been spotted in the break, so he bridged some time ago. Makes the break at 20 or 19 if Pantano lost contact. |
By:
Rolland has gone, important to remember he won on this finish in 2012, 2nd yesterday.
By:
35 secs gap opened up and increasing...
By:
Long way out, though...
By:
SKY went to pieces on the first climb of the day. Froome only had Poels with him at one point. The whole team is back now.
By:
All very Europcar tactics wise.
By:
Astana to the front, suspected Nibali might try and do something here.
By:
Nibali and Contador are the only ones willing to attack, a pity for the race they have no form at the moment
By:
Uran & Valls off the front of the peloton?
By:
Pinot out the back the bum...
![]() |
By:
AST have smashed the peloton!
By:
The 35+y/o seem to have figured out how to beat the new protocols
By:
Froome isolated, but not panicking.
By:
break is toast
By:
should be a fun decent. perhaps Nibili will fully commit
By:
Scarponi smashing the field to pieces
By:
Uran, Kruiswijk and Plaza still hunting down Rolland.
By:
This AST-led GC select peloton looking full-of-riding, break might be losing their advantage if they keep up.
By:
Hoover time...
By:
Contador looks like he's about to try something.
By:
Ooh Valverde goes. Wasn't expecting that.
By:
Sagan 20sec behind the yellow jersey group
By:
Valverde already back, Poels doing the business for Froome.
By:
Big bet on Quintana at 4.5, should I lay off at 2.5? I'm feeling very confident the market has under estimated him so might let it run.
By:
Bad form by Nibali there.
By:
What happened CJ, just pedal came out didn't it?
