The "race of the two seas" in some ways competes with Paris-Nice, and many of the top riders will be split between the two races. Despite being seen by some as less important than that race, in recent years the top GC riders and climbers have often favoured this race to Paris-Nice because it can offer more mountain profiles.

Froome out of Tirrenico-Adriatico due to a chest infection. It may be Konig that leads SKy now so with that it may be worth chancing the 80/1 with Bet £3.65. I just missed out on 125/1.
Another great thread MC, but no bets for me, I don't have a good record in this race, and so will just be following with observations. It'll definitely be an interesting race. SP
Konig looks bang out of form so far this season. So going on your principle I've had a dabble at Nieve.

Looked like a mechanical to me. Would be hard to move like that without significant upper body movement.
I can't have that as on purpose. Chain hops to right, bike jumps. Team said same thing happened to Boonen in Qatar and they'll investigate.
I backed Pinot and Poels last night when I probably wasn't in a state to be putting bets on. Now I don't think either have much of a chance.
Poels wins in T-A and Gallopin wins at P-N. Didn't have a double though. 
The exuberance of my previous post was not meant to imply I've backed Quintana, I haven't, it was just a brilliant ride and I found it difficult to not get caught up in the excitement of the stage 5 mountain epic into a snow storm. SP
Well I guess the bookies knew something more than I did. Not sure he should have been third favourite, but that's a hell of a week for Steve Cummings. Seems MTN have bought a rouleur and found they've got a half-decent stage race contender.
Quintana is easily the best climber in the pro peleton, thought it was a good price..
