Feel envious you guys talking about downing the good stuff and certainly brings back memories from my drinking days , unfortunately was diagnosed with Cluster Headache syndrome in May 2018 and the verapamil and such i take means strictly NO alcohol , so over 7 years since i've touched a drop.
Don't give it much thought now but have to admit being sorely tempted when dining out , thankfully i've the willpower to say no.

I was on the Johnnie Walker Gold Label last night. I am not a whiskey drinker. I really enjoy a drink and like a good ale or Guinness. I think I could live without it if imposed on me for health reasons but the reminisces would be tough. You have my deepest sympathies!

I've never smoked either WD so considering my apparently clean living feel unlucky to have had both Cluster and Pancreatitis over the last few years , i can probably vouch for saying near enough the two most painful conditions out there.

Hayden, you are probably wise not to drink with your headache issues but i thought it was ok to do so when on Verapamil ? I thought they were basically similar to Amlodopine which i have been on for high BP in recent months, my GP says it's ok for me to drink alcohol whilst on them (in moderation of course).

Dixie , you're correct regarding Verapamil alone but i'm taking Pregabalin as well which makes it a definite no according to my Neurologist.
