Interesting to see how quickly a Women's test moves along compared to the men. Mostly quick bowling but still get 100 overs a day. England men managed 83 on the first day against NZ. Same in football. They just get on with the game rather than spending ages feigning injury or protesting to officials. It feels like it should be a fourth day score in the women's test but still only day 3 of 4.

It surprises me given all the hair fiddling Lauren Bell gets up to. Doesn't reflect very well that a four day game doesn't last anything like three days. No wonder so few tests are played. Mind you the biff-bash men continually play as if they don't need a fifth day. I used to actually enjoy sides fighting on the fifth day to save a match. England under the current regime now just happy to throw the towel in.
