Draw at 13.0

I guess the idea was that they figured all the other tracks would behave similarly to the first Test wicket so they felt they had to go with something that would crack/crumble.
Either way, plenty of spin and bounce on show. Will be interesting to see England bat against their seventeen spin bowlers. Could be a 241 all out in 34 overs. |
By:
Bounce has disappeared for the spinners with the old ball.
Grubbers from the pacers remain, though. |

Could do with you, WD - what might happen to this day 1/day 6 pitch over the next few days?!
Outfield is very slow, wicket is slow and low but there must have been at least ten deliveries just past the outside edge since the last wicket. Can't see it getting quicker so what goes on if it just continues to die? First innings runs the key, I suppose. |
By:
Stokes squares him up and finds edge through vacant slip in first over.
Perhaps there is carry if they bend their backs? Or his angle sees him pitching it slightly wider, where the wicket hasn't been pounded as much? Wait and see. |
By:
Four edges in first fourteen deliveries from Stokes
Only one that carried was before the slip came in ![]() |

Missed an opportunity at u375.5
Don’t think this will be a draw. The pitch may die but if is equally likely to eventually start cracking |

The reverse has certain made this watchable as a contest
By:
Smith is a serious find, he looks very tidy behind the stumps.
Allied to his batting, he could be a beast for us. |
By:
Absolutely. I think Rob Key is a smart guy!
This is a good contest |
By:
I really fancy England go bat well on this first up
By:
Smith at it again - he'll do something wrongly sometime, surely
![]() Carse been more impressive in these Tests than I'd expected, too. |
By:
Tailenders making it look fairly easy to bat today, very little spin.
England will fancy this, batting... |
By:
Why does England find it so hard to take the last 2 wickets in test matches? It has been going on for years against all teams on all surfaces. I know that balls get soft etc. but this has been a feature of the team foe ever. I would love to see data on the percentage of runs given away by England for each wicket in Test matches compared to other sides.
By:
That was 9 so now get the last one cheaply. Very good from Carse.
By:
24 off the past nine overs, England being contained a little here.
By:
Fast bowler back and a boundary.
By:
Whilst they're not going anywhere fast, they're a relatively free lay here at 1.9x - can't go a lot lower and the upside is tidy if a wicket comes

Draw price will balance out any length of time without a wicket

Couple of wickets (big if) and England comfortably trading up around 3.0, batting fourth.

(Hopefully guaranteed a two hundred partnership with these last few comments)

I agree apt although the ball may go soft. I think there will be more spin and uneven bounce. Engerlund were looking like a facsimile of the last Test 15 minutes ago. Since the fall of Pope Pakistan are looking like a cricket team.

I want to see what the leggier can do. Big mistake nog to have an extra seamers for the reverse too.
By:
Lay Duckett through the 90s at 1.7x
By:
Yep, very lopsided with only one seamer on here.
By:
Damnit, market laying Duckett, too - only got a tickle.
By:
2000 Test career runs for Duckett at >87 strike rate

Feels like the match is on the precipice here.
A wicket will open this up |
By:
I thing there from the leggie
By:
Nothing. Doesn’t seem to have much control. Does look increasingly difficult sweep on this wicket though.
By:
Just saying!
By:
Very poor in the front foot at times is Duckett. That allowed Sajid to pitch the ball right up to him. I’d call that a half volley. His front foot could easily have got to the pitch. Brook would have stroked it to the fence sweetly

Feel I missed out on under 484.5 on Bet365

Centurion *and* the two dons gone. Quite a fifteen minutes.

And Stokes!

Crazy game, cricket!
England would take 300 now! ![]() |

By:
211-2 and then fourteen runs later Pakistan have flipped 5.5 into 1.6x. Nuts.

By:
Yes alt
That is why we love it! Started with Engerland last at evens @ 11:47 Bought into Pakistan from 3 to 4.7 |
