Foot down - race towards 900 and declare/all-out.

Lead 300-350 and see how tired Pakistan are.

Also - the market has woken up with this fresh impetus after a dreary first session...

Brook and Smith - 25yo and 24yo - very exciting.

Not my market but anyone who bagged a Root top 1st Innings bat ticket must be pretty distraught Shocked

Lest we forget. Thus pitch looks very batable still. I would not even think about declaring. Ground and pound, run down the wicket, wear and tear, tire and demoralise. Bat beyond tea for me.

Oh dear,

They put the Len Hutton graphic up!

All we need is Michael Vaughan in commentary

I am ashley half pleased Sir Len’s record is intact combined with a disappointment for Brook who deserved it

Still haven't quite batted as long as Pakistan did in their dig...

Backing Pakistan in to 50s there on the declaration is a bit of a reach by someone Laugh

Draw rightly favourite but will the pitch deteriorate?

Pakistan will be tired, mentally as well as physically. If they start well Confidence will grow. If they lose a wicket the rot will set in. They also have form.

We shall see what happens after lunch tomorrow and if there is any significant spin. My view is there will be tomorrow afternoon. Much will friend on how many they score before lunch

Tough but that is a proper drop, didn't time his leap all that well

Frenetic start from Pakistan is all England could've hoped for - mentally fried by the 400+ partnership...

Yeah, didn’t watch it into his hands either. Though but catches win matches.

Market rode the draw to 1.9 on the declaration...

With a wicket *and* two drops inside the first three overs, we're sitting at 2.02!

One of those prices is/was extremely wrong

Not sure how you price this.

Tea can't come quickly enough for Pakistan.

If I were a gambler, they look a lovely lay at around evens.

Four or five successive second innings collapses; heads fried; loads of pressure; needing to bat ~100 overs to make game safe - all weighed against a ridiculously flat pitch.

Temptation would be to pull the punch and wait (as their price will have itself if they're still one down after half hour of final session)

Hence why I'm not a good gambler! Mischief

Price will halve* itself

~1.5 the draw if they're 60-1.

When: 10 Oct 24 10:41
I keep writing 'they/their' but obviously, I'm talking about them as the draw.

Goes without saying that Pakistan can't win this.

In other news: I'd love to know how the heck the market is 12-15 seconds ahead of the Sky pictures!!!

That kind of headstart would be priceless...

Oh Sky is well delayed!

You are not going to nick an eighth!

I think you are right. Draw could well fall to 1.5

Puff of dust!

A bit early to call game over but they had better score quick. It would be fun if England had to bat again.

Now a low one. It is a GrantCKing full bank job

It’s a bloody minefield!

You couldn't make this up.

England score >800 and then in the space of an over we have one take off and another grub along the deck.

Hard ball etc but it's barely believable

Draw remains a lovely lay.
By:

When: 10 Oct 24 11:29
Not sure Apt

Yes the ball is hard but I do see signs. I also wonder if they may get it to reverse too.

On the contrary I think 1.7 The Engerlund is the better long term bet.

Draw of course might fall to 1.5 but it is all about timing. I would like to see what the spinners can do no
