brentford, i really think that boycott was magnificent, and blowers was a character, no give me the old lot any day

By:
Feel sorry for Joe,asking too much of a fine player
By:
All day long!
I like to listen to Atherton and when Vaughan is not being a clown he is also worth a listen. Mark Nicholas is a good read But by God give me Arlot, Jonners and Blowers all day long |
By:
England my dear boys are right royally fcuked here me thinks
Yes it's first session but body language speaks aloud |
By:
Athers & Nass by far the best on tv imo though Athers has developed a slight smugness in delivery at times these days which we could maybe do without..
in terms of tms, Blowers was a bit of a liability in terms of just getting names right in later years - Boycott I thought was surprisingly exceptional for a long time but just stayed on a fraction long and had lost his sharp insights (purely imo) |

BAtting last on this ain't good news either

By:
Too early pecker
I did comment on finding the only ball that did not swing earlier ![]() |
By:
Athers and Naz for me
By:
WD. It's always too early then it's too late ha
India can't lose this |
By:
wonder how our top order would have faired in this ?
these two certainly have gutsed out some tough early conditions both here and Nottingham 2nd inns |
By:
On the draw at 5.2 so green out alert now. Already 3.65 so waiting for 3.2 as a target. Pitch is like a pudding and will get slower.
By:
I don't think they have bowled very well
By:
agree pecker probably not enough balls in the right place
By:
I think not playing Ashwin is a mistake
Why couldn’t they take lunch at 1. I guess they have to lay the table! |
By:
Yeah. England quite often waste the new ball by bowling too short. Today they bowled a little wide. May 3 they got a duff ball. The6 are not happy with it. After lunch if the field is a little damp there may be further problems fi4 England as the lacquer has gone. This could still change very quickly. The run line is up at 332. It could be cloudy all day.
I am on India here and also layed the draw as I think there will be a result here. India to win if they bat all day. Ideally smash England out of it but then the draw comes down. |

Afternoon: 13:50-16:15
Tea: 16:15-16:35 Evening: 16:35-18:50 - plus 30 minutes to make up overs |
By:
Scoring rate has crept up from 1 per over but still low. Can't see England getting a knock before Saturday morning.
By:
I hate you Butler!
I have seen a better wicket keeper in the Ladies Hundred. Can’t remember her name |
By:
Rattling along at 2.67, no problem with that here. Just soften the ball, protect my bet!
By:
I remember England making 190-5 on the first day at Lords back in the day with no weather
By:
does Sarah Taylor still keep ? - she was very decent, Amy Jones not bad either when I've seen her
By:
Butlaaaaaaagh
By:
She did yesterday I think.
Butler not moving his feet at all |
By:
Lord's when it's wobbling after going past the bat not much fun in Butler's defence WD..
By:
It would help if the bowlers bowled where they are supposed to.
By:
Still to early but this is looking oni mouse
By:
He is still not a very good keeper, certainly not Test level. He is a favoured son. Kwality white ball cricketer though and clever. Would be a better Captain than Root and Anderson the current incumbents!
By:
Do I need to protect my draw red or England red or equalise the red against my India win?
By:
Two seriously well played Wood short balls there by KL! Could be right about his solid test technique
By:
Haven't seen much to suggest a draw, recent history not offering much either apart from heavily weather affected games...
By:
Absolutely am. He went through a Pujara period in the Test team. The fans wanted him out or to score faster. He lost the confidence of the management and reinvented himself as a smiler of awesome repute in the IPL but fir me he always was an is a supreme Test batsman. Hard this fir me to say but better than Rohit in a Test Match.
By:
Butler is not a natural, hes not test class and he should know it, he's not incompetent completely just has weaknesses.
I mean he ain't QDK who is a natural doing the basics well but nouse too |
By:
Agreed. I think I can cover England around 10 or 12-1 at some point. This was supposed to be a rout with the overheads.
By:
Yeah I am too harsh on Butler!
Was too harsh on Rohit after that but you know he will get out hooking after doing the hard work |
By:
We i could not sit mentally with your getting strategy of lay draw back india, I find the contradiction uneasy.
I would perhaps back both but trade the draw price to my advantage. Yeah you dont Trade blah blah....open the Burgundy lol |
By:
Bought back the draw lay. Will lay again later.
By:
![]() My logic ain’t great but I think I have a good understanding of the game particularly when the market has got it wrong |
By:
I see a win win here
Draw comes down I lay Draw goes up on wickets I buy cheap as cover. |
By:
Lazy languid Rohit pulls a 93 mph ball through mid wicket!
By:
No you do for sure know your cricket, just betting wise your shitt lol
