If you bought a ticket for an under 16, as it is a Covid test event under official guidelines, under 16s are not allowed to attend.
You are given the option of a full refund - ........or upgrading your child ticket to an adult ticket by paying the difference between a child and adult ticket.
This adult ticket will give your child access to the game.
I have my own opinion, but wondered what others' thought.

Exactly. In my book it can only amount to either breaking the COVID guidelines or disgraceful ripping off of punters - and very likely, both.

Interestingly, Edgbaston are NOW saying that Under 16s will not be able to attend. And even those who upgraded their Under 16 ticket to an Adult ticket will not be admitted!

Was that day 3 in 2005 Whispering? I was at day 2 of that epic match. Warne bowling Strauss with one that pitched 5 feet outside off stump is one of the greatest things I've ever seen live.

No, Warne bowled Strauss at Edgbaston in 2005. Gatting was 93 at Old Trafford. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it/don't remember it.

Be careful old chap. KW might be out, Stone might play, Leach will p,ay, England might win the toss. Lots of if’s and buts but if England ba5 wellon day 1 you will be behind the 8 for the rest of the Test.

They also say the first innings score isn't usually the highest in the match but the side batting first usually wins....they say!

I really can't call it so will wait and see. I do expect a reaction from England and the English attack. Foreigners usually lift their game at Lords. Edgbaston is well suited to England but I guess also to Boult, Southee and the big lump.

With only very short break between the end of this match and the start of the World Championship Test Final it will be interesting to see what the NZ starting line up will be. I do expect some changes from them. I also expect a better performance from England on a ground where they usually do well and i believe the inclusion of a specialist spinner this time around is a must. It will be a good toss to win. As far as betting goes i'm in the wait and see camp. Whatever you decide GLA |
