Aus lay for me at 1.55

Pitch will not get easier to bat on I hope and unlikely to dew up tonight as it is cloudy. Hoping our spinners can win it after a lethal dose of shock and awe.

I like Johnny Bstard and hope he can get back into the test team, always a good watch.

I never mentioned DEW but many times I have heard captains post toss declare "It might skid on better under lights" inc Kohli

Around the time WD first posted the comms said there would be no dew.

I know it is more likely to skid on under clear skies at night but didn't think the lights helped with skidology
By:

When: 08 Sep 20 17:56

and if this is an older pitch we have a couple of bowlers who spin it and Denly if is that helpful. I am happy to be on England but would really like to see 160 breeched

This is the way to bat. Take your time to play yourself in but push the singles early on then give it some humpty when the ball is looking bigger.

Aaron Finch at toss

Here's Aaron Finch:

We're going to bowl first. It looks like a pretty good wicket. Hopefully under lights it can skid on. We'll try and chase down a total later tonight."

WD...it does skid on under lights, generally, but depends on conditions, so obviously not on a dry summers eve, but tonight it should, later it gets..

Where is Grant when you need him, is it a road or minefield?

Last game Aussies struggled early on then it got easier as it is now. Jos sorted it out second innings so not sure what happens.
