This is why you should be prepared to go underwater in T20 when a side gets really short with lots of time left in the game but the problem with it is you get so anxious about loss that you don’t hold the position long enough. What happens here Fats is you over bet with a short..ish trade in mind, you have already killed the opportunity by creating the fearWhat you should do is not kill the opportunity by betting just a little over your very comfort amount, then get that little extra of quick..ish, leaving the rest to ride a good bit further knowing you are comfortable/relaxed with that amt and the knowledge that you have now creates a little cushion anyway

To be fair, I ended up with a plausible overall green and trading T20 is hard, because any bet taking away some of your red, even if you’re eating into a big green, can easily be the right call, especially if, as I do, you look to keep trading. The danger, though, is that you feel such relief at getting out of gaol that you don’t recall the underlying value in the original position and trade out too much. Anyway, that’s what I did.

Managed to take some risks with my green backing GAW up to 10.5 (sadly for pennies at that price) so have improved a bit more but was another one where I managed small trades with success, rather than anything transformative.

Looks very good for GAW right now but they do still need to score at basically the match rate from here so reasonable potential for it to go wrong.

out at 1.44  jubbly jubbly ....had some today also, going good and consistent...

Yeah fats, not being critical of that trade in particular, just saying as you are aware, the battle that goes on in the brain is a tough one to get away from, i find overbetting
in t20 creates fear and destroys opportunity, folk should find a balance that leaves them comfortable with any possible loss..

on the the other hand patience in t20 creates opportunity quite often

off course we will all encounter rough spells regardless........

god knows ive had them and they can leave you looking in the mirror Laugh

Agree with you pecker. The situation where you’ve been in trouble and got out of it is a well recognised case of even more loss aversion than usual so it’s common to fail to take full advantage of a swing in your favour.
