Has anybody ever watched a sitcom called Curry and Chips?
It just shows you what was socially acceptable 40/50 years ago & how society has been programmed to accept the current position.

Pretty amazing that signing Marnus Labuschagne has catapulted us from the bottom to top but I'll take it. He's even our front line spinnerLaugh

Nice to see the govt paying you to watch cricket

Weird, especially with the weather and having strength in seam bowling, if anything. Got 4 decent seamers and 3 decent seam bowling all rounders, can really go flat out at any game.

Never understand why they have the field back when they are batting like this.
Make them hit a few fours first

especially as the world cup pitches @ cardiff weren't belters

NZ v SL was a green top
hounds game with SL also low scoring

1st game at Norhtants was a bore draw, I thought that was an anomaly but clearly deliberate.

Obviously it works to play to your weaknesses in D2, so I don't care!

Good to see Maynard doing well too, I thought he did badly at Somerset and he's from the same village as me so he's got my backing ahahaa

can anybody explain the rationale of having a division with 10 teams & a division with 8?
By:

like they have now except next year it will be flipped

Play less but even away games D1?
By:
wondersobright
When: 06 Jul 19 12:18
14 games rather than 16 with 2 divisions of 9
7 home, 7 away
lack of symmetry of fixtures in div 1 of the CC is unforgiveable imo

Copying the Aus model of fewer games, like you said there is a clear gulf between D1 and D2.

India win here and Australia go on auto pilot it might end up Australia V England in the semis

2.3 million matched at 1.05 ..........they must be loving this partnership

cannot see aus being half arsed, playing eng in the SF massively compromises their WC chances

Wonder

They've beat us comfortably twice this summer, they will fancy a repeat, do realise we are probably due one against them though

100% not dipping back into this market but could become fascinating after this test match style partnership, which is exactly what was needed after the wastrels above them threw their wickets away.

think about the prices, not results

By:

When: 06 Jul 19 12:50
eng v aus...eng slight favs
NZ v aus...aus favs

plus india get an easier route to the final if aus have to play eng in SF

it massively compromises aus if they don't win today
