With the Canterbury radar out, how accurate are things going to be?

My scratch is 4.5, I'll be happy to get out of this and move on.
Get the feeling there will be more than enough time to clean up these ragamuffins. Weather on day 1 feels priced in and could be all over by Tuesday (if that materialises at all) |

A gunman has opened fire at a mosque in central Christchurch, with reports of casualties and police urging residents to stay indoors.
Eye witnesses say they've seen about 6 people taken into Christchurch Hospital, two with serious injuries. The Herald has been told there may have been multiple shooters inside Al Noor Mosque. Radio NZ reported a witness said people were being evacuated from near a second mosque in Linwood, Christchurch, and police were swarming the area. |

I dont associate New Zealand with this kind of breaking newsI just cancelled my £500 1.3 NZ lay.....even though I was only looking for 1 tick......Bangers mind wont be on the job, not that it was anyway |

By:
wtf
By:
THis is quite close to the sort of thing WD talks about. What would have happened if this occurred during the course of the game?
By:
not had any affect on the market
By:
There should be no mosques in western countries. I think they should all be demolished
By:
Suppose it depends how long this goes on for, especially if the shooters are close by.
No way they will let the game start under those conditions with gunmen at large |
By:
I'm not touching that market now, I just yearn for the Paddies to win toss
By:
NZ sliding a bit!
By:
are the gunmen still at large?
By:
it'll be on the news if they are caught so yeah im assuming they are still at large.
By:
let's hope they hold up inside the ground for a couple of days. A three day game would suit me!
By:
No idea but "critical incident" always sounds deadly serious to me, lots of bodies not just 1 or 2
By:
who knows could well have been a draw backer from the last test following the bangla team

I thought that too. But lately ive stopped caring about such things with all the crap that happens around the world. Unless of course im directly talking to someone who's been affected.
