well i tried to educate but i will leave you guys to mull over 0.2mms is persistent rain  and again good luck

nobody said that, just not agreeing with your 350/400 over left BS
When the forecast shows rain all day, there is a fair chance that there will be a fair few interruptions. Is that hard to understand?

I happen to be a Wellingtonian native. 0.2mm is not a heck of a lot. It may be dry tomorrow and the rain may be just in the hills. But it could be a mizerly mizzle over the basin all day with no play. I am not sure what is going to happen yet. But there was a met service forecaster on the radio this morning who said that there will be plenty of rain around tomorrow and because it come from the South there will be a lot of showers coming through all day.

Plenty of folk have backed NZ at long odds on and are now stranded so there will be lots of wishful thinking about.   I still feel for that 1.3 backer, could be his life savings.

People bet on the forecasts and you have to stay up to date with that. What actually happens is somewhat irrelevant

The clean up is underway, play will resume at.

Sorry had news, it's raining again.

Here's more highlights from 1996

IN the end it is, but during the trading, spot on, the forecast will dictate that price. That said the draw was at 2's all morning till the TV pics showed the puddles and it dramatically dropped to 1.85 initially. Had I been a bit more on the ball I would have travelled to the basin this morning or last night and I could have put a packet on the draw knowing that TV pics at 10.31Am were going to show puddles. I just got lazy.

It's a real nuisance that human beings have to sleep, if I could stay awake for the next 24 hours I'm sure I could do very well out of this market.

I must admit I've cost myself a huge win here.
If I'd let my original bets run I would have 40k green on all results now.
13k at present. Cry
Mainly caused by greening up at 2.6 yesterday and then laying at 2.3
Had to get out of that trade at 2s which has cut into my profit big time

I made over 100 with tick nicking. But now ive backed the draw BIG at 1.61 to lay at 1.6 and looks like that was market bottom.

What made you think the amount of rain will be less? I was surprised reading your comment above.

NZ met often over estimates rain & I thought a big downpour in the morning and then some play in the afternoon. The 2 hourly figs for the afternoon are measly but the amount that has fallen is biblical

This cloud on the radar will take some time to go past wellingtin. I don't see any play today with the amount of rain. There might be inspections in the afternoon bringing in more volatility in the prices but hard to see much play.

Looking at PTTT's comments reminds me of stock exchange forums where paid trolls pump or bash stocks for a living.

See PTTT, that 0.4 mm you see between 10 and 12 will be updated at 12 and it will not show 0.4, rather anything from 8 to 20mm. Yes after that the rain my lessen but those figures you see are just computer generated. They do not take the radar into account whatsoever.

Juce. remember the NZ v SA test where the clouds hovered over the city for the whole day? This cloud reminds me of that, though it isn't that stubborn. It will move but slowly. I've been looking at it 6 hours now. Its not going anywhre anytime soom.

I use them for the next few days because I know other people use them and I want to make money!
