I am sure you have noticed that since december, the draw constantly starts at 8+ in test matches, when previously it was almost always in 5.x range. I guess people have smartened up to the fact that there aren't many 5-day players left in the game.

They should do it like Capital Gains Tax - you can carry forward losses indefinitely to offset against future gains, but before you use up your past losses you use current losses against current gains and then enough past losses as needed to bring your gains below an annual allowance.

Jucel - yes, I'm referring to British tax - I meant BF should do similar. Adding an annual allowance, like you said, would probably make it like the tax system.

Well from what you said yesterday they don't sound too "S-mart".
Maybe they'll also find they need to introduce a version of PC before too long.

I've never been close to paying PC as far as I know. I always seem to get stuck around 40% commission-to-profit.
In real terms that figure is a bit misleading cos I pay 5% commission whereas the figure is crediting me with only 2 1/2 % on half of my wins and 3% on half of my losses. I'd rather get the full 5% credited on all my wins amd nowt on my losses.
