Price will go very quickly in the morning if a couple of overs tick by. Far from, trivial but you have to think India wins at least as often as this market currently says.

Link is broken but if I level up £253 Red....started the day £600+ red and was over £900 Red at some points today.

Don't quite know what happened but when Butler was out I did not green rather foolishly but the game did look over. I have cleared my red got a good green on India, half good green on Engkand and am questioning the size size of my cajones or am I getting old? Ordinarily I would have toughed  this out as I think India will win. Due to health considerations I took the chicken option, not really happy about it but if a wicket were to fall first ball I would pull my hair out!

You could always adjust your greens to be roughly inversely proportional to the odds (assumed fair) then you can sleep soundly and reassess the overhead conditions in the morning.

Put a bit of a dent into my red yesterday but still going to make a loss on the game.....unless it's a thai.
Haven't had one in tests for a long time now!!
This is the sort of scenario where it could happen.
England simply must win this or risk a massive series loss, as the wickets are going to turn more and more.

Thinking ahead, Lords next, got to fancy India massively there. They have watered Edgbaston to within an inch of it's life and it's still turned square. I expect India to play 2 spinners at Lords and by the way we played Ashwin in this game, it could be a tad embarrassing.
Going to be scorching building up to the Lord's game too and then dry throughout.
The decks were turning a month ago at Lords so I can't see any reason for change.

Yes sleeping is difficult, leave windows open and moths and flying insects come in Sad

I have put an order in at 3.2 Eng for £309 when it is matched I will have a screen of

£ 251.17 RED England
£ 251.41 RED India
£1112.93 RED Draw

That looks a right result after where I have been at times on this, leaving things as they are right now with  £57.59 Green on India and hope they win is  foolish because if they don't I swallow £930.97 Red

Yes that's the right play.

As I've said before I think it's harder to defend a low total on a 'seamer's' wicket than a spinning one.
The batsmen often get streaky runs to third man and can use the pace of the ball.
If it was in the subcontinent on a spinning deck where you have to work the ball around & put pace on yourself, 84 would be more difficult to attain.

prudent CS, there are four more games to feat on after this!!
I will back Eng if they get to 10s as after Hardick the last 3 could fall quickly.

CS, unless you need it for tick-nicking, I'm surprised at how much you leave sitting in your account. BF is not as secure as it could be and difficult to prove if you got hacked - some forum posts I've read suggest BF are unsympathetic/unhelpful in such circumstances. One post in particular scared the living bejeysus out of me. Plus you're also at more risk of fat-fingering.

The main scam if you are hacked involves using exchange games. Just exclude yourself from all that and you should be ok
You are right though VV, BF couldn't give a sh1t.
They should also do something about people putting up odds of 110 instead of 1.10 but they don't!!
They were pretty quick to stop people betting against themselves on the exchange and making profits!!

I had a cracking day yesterday switching between India & England until the late surge from India cost me.
It's very rare that I lose money on India in tests but very common that I lose money on England in tests, things need to change and I would love to see that smug Kohli get done first thing. Should be overcast during play.
So I'm sticking it out- Eng GREEN 1650, India Green 160, Draw Green.
GL All.

CS, I don't mean the games. Every Pro knows to avoid trying to beat an in-built House-edge.

I'm talking about access being gained and weird (losing) bets being made by hackers. It may be rare if it actually ever happens at all, but why risk all that capital when you could be earning a decent extra return from deploying it elsewhere? Even leaving it in the Nationwide is worth 5%.

VV the hackers use Betfair Exchange games to fleece you, it's an easy way to do it. Losing bets on your account, while the hackers plays the other side and cleans up

Sorry, CS - misread your post. Not sure I understand the motivation of hacking to play House games, unless BF were behind it themselves, which would seem unlikely.

Betfair Exch games is different, you play against other people much like the betting exchange

What a great Test Match though! The cloud cover has made this games. If it was sunny I am not sure we would have had so much swing but maybe it was something to do with the watering and humidity? I love swing and scientists trying to convince a cricket fan that it will not swing when the cricket fan looks up, smells the air and knows what will happen.

I think I have been half lucky Nd half genius here. Going to be close to four figure green on both results and comedy green on the draw!

Oh if ever I meet you Juce you owe me £22, I just backed the Thai!Cry

Dharwan should not have played and Pudgy should but Dharwan may be effective at Lords. He could win them the game. India will p,at 3 spinners at Lords I think!

Back to the game. Who knows. Ball is 40 overs, batsmen are in. I think India still win this. It will be wonderful and exciting. Good luck all.

There is a lot of pressure on the fielding side. Tremendous pressure on Root and Rashid. He should have had a few more overs yesterday. It will be easier for the batsmen particularly if they p,as a bit of tip and run. Gaps all over the place. England need wickets, close catchers and to plug the gaps. Edges through the slip cordon etc etc etc

My current Betfair bank is only 2k, thats nothing compared to some on here, jucel & FS  for example.

I employ 2 Step Authentication and my password is nothing you would find in a dictionary.  I went to school on this CNN report years ago when I saw it.  I am as safe as anyone can be

I redded out at 3.2 Eng and looks like I was one of the last people to get 3.2 Eng
