I know what you mean, but it's good to preserve your bank. Small gains soon repair holes as long as the holes aren't gaping chasms.

I don't end up chasing anymore and I don't bet on random stuff. Trust myself to come good again.
I only bet on cricket & a bit on the WC. This tournament has been bad to me & I haven't bet on many games! |

I worry that if I bet the same amount after a bad run then I'm actually increasing my bet-sizing relative to my remaining bank, which cod probably make things worse, albeit not quite as bad as doing a Martingale.

Absolutely have to avoid chasing losses. I actually don’t struggle with that too badly but I do sometimes talk myself out of putting sensible bets in for the amounts I should after a loss. I especially and sadly recall not smashing draw lays after those wash out tests when SA scored about 450 against NZ on a minefield with a good forecast. They won in about three and a half days, I think.

It's a day of finals. Wimbledon done; FIFA World Cup done; over to cricket now - definitely nowhere close to the other two in grandness.
Mugs at Cricbuzz think this ain't a big deal. |
