looks like an already small ground has been reduced by 10 metres to give extra seating room for a capacity crowd.

cricinfo used to have boundary dimension data on their scorecard. You can see if they stil do that.

I may also be naively sticking to the script while Scotland tear it up but this looks like an absolute runway with the ropes spitting distance of the middle. I think England rightly favoured to chase 360 to 370. You can look very silly if every time you go for a big shot you get out and subside for 250 but this looks like a chase 400 half the time track to me. It will be easy to time the ball and even if you don’t, it will still go for 6!

It’s currently at my scratch price. I’ve not put very much on though.

I’m just flicking across. Nadal already at 1.18. Think he’ll kill Thiem and I thought that before but didn’t have a bet. I don’t think I’m any good at tennis though, so probably best to stay away.

When you’re good at other things it’s easy to fool yourself that you’re globally good when it really isn’t true. I don’t see why I’d be better than other armchair tennis traders and that’s before you worry about the courtsiders.

Thing is, you have to understand there is a lot of market love for Eng. Which will stay that way unless Eng really start bad.
