So Windies have declared twice in the game.

Ouch, they killed my 225. Glad I didn’t take more now! Didn’t for a moment imagine they’d pull the plug at 450 lead.

Did at least get on a lay at 5.4 while the market was waking up.

10.5 - 7.0 on draw in not much time.

Well that was some very unwelcome run scoring followed by an even less welcome wicket. Draw went absurdly high though so took some 10.5 and rid at 8.8 without a ball bowled. Should have waited though.

This run rate is taking the draw off the table Sad

It isn’t really but it is stopping it coming in as fast as it would otherwise. I shouldn’t be trading at this stage but couldn’t resist the 10.5 or a blip to 9. If we get the steamroller at this stage though, it’s not going to be doing any reversing.

Pitch looking a little placid

I’ve got a bunch of lays in the mid 5s I’d really like to see again. To have been a bit green on draw having laid it near flat earlier in the match with over £2k on results and win less than a grand would feel pretty poor, all the more so having got my earlier lays in the 5s matched today so huge draw green but much bigger result green than now.

WD sweating buckets. SL a huge lay at 11s for me but it’s a good surface so will wait on a bit hoping for 7s or less on them, by which point my draw lays should have come in to leave me more options. A few quiet overs with some singles would be lovely.

Now sweating just annoyed at myself for laying SL too early. The pitch really does look a little mellow here

Looking back, was another illogical declaration. If you were going to declare 450 on shortly after lunch the batsmen should have been playing at least the odd shot in the 15 minutes before lunch and T20 after. I resent it more because another over was worth £800 more to me.

and the SL top 4 is half decent. Just got feared after their first innings woefulness but have reduced WI red to under 3 figurea and that is still the most likely result. Draw green extremely pleasant should Noah appear!

Rare to see this. Hope he's ok.

Good declaration. Weather dodgy for tomorrow. 9 balls (maybe 8??) needed..
By:
Whisperingdeath
When: 09 Jun 18 18:06
No guarantee of weather tomorrow but this is a good riposte by SL. Far better than I had hoped for but fudged it up by laying SL at 25's! Doh!

That retirement might work to our advantage.  Strengthen a very poor lower middle order.
