On the exchange? Never that short were they?

Left a tip here laying Pak at 1.39. It jumped to 1.4r before play too so backed there but then laid again at 1.4. Also, I know it’s fashionable to say Broad’s batting is rubbish these day but he’s clearly better than Wood.
they are both useless imo

I had some bonus bets to use on the Sportsbook the other day and I was appalled at how poor the prices were. Most of the tennis odds for the RG winner market were half what they were on the exchange. Couple that with the fact that a £5 bonus bet (possibly given as compensation for a loss of real money due to a BF error) is only worth at best half that in expected value even if you could find a fair-priced coin-toss market, cos he bets are normally settled without the stake being returned.

VV if you have free bets to use best finding a big price poke that is unders to lay on here
Yeah I've figured that the higher the odds the less the impact of the stake-not-returned feature.
Not sure what you mean by "poke" though.

They set them by the market, don’t they?
You can still bet England below 200s.

They drew the second test in NZ and were close to a win. Lost an awful lot of others over the winter though.

"Poke" - cute! What markets would you recommend as close in odds between the Sportsbook and the exchange? You mean cricket runs or would I get closer prices on football overs/unders?

this is one of the most severe kickings ive ever seen, still cant work out why england were so short prematch and why root chose to bat in swinging conditions
England’s home record is pretty impressive, especially in early season. Don’t get me wrong, I dug myself out of a big red hole by laying England hard and repeatedly so I knew the market was badly wrong once the first innings started to fall apart but still, pre match an inexperienced Pak side could legitimately have been looked at as easy prey with the bat and far from proven with the ball.

market love
Thanks to this comment, I checked the market and got a decent lay of 3.65 before the start of play. Cheers for that. Must get two screens up in future.

fats yep after 1 over of eng's reply when 1-0 they were 2.7x
I’m so bad at analogue odds. Of course you’re right. I had too much England red to hit that price but it was mad. It’s been mad all game, mind. Working out what the idiots will think next to trade has been hard. I factored a lot of idiocy in by laying Pak pre play but wicket second over killed that ploy. Think my 1.45 Pak back was in play after another 2-3 balls and the 1.5 in 2-3 overs.

I appear to be on CSK for the toss and SRH bet for the game not matched yet.

@ FS - I hate fractional odds. 3-1 etc is fine but when they start quoting 11/7 I just feel it's designed to confuse, so you can't assess the over-round so easily. I'd much prefer if digital odds were quoted without the stake though, then the inversions would be simpler 0.33 inverts to 3.0 (i.e. 3-to-1) instead of 1.33 being the opposite of 4.0 by subtracting 1 first inverting it then adding 1 back.
Yeah, completely agree with that.
Beefy is such an idiot.

Next match at headingley. From what I remember the place is famous for bowling friendly conditions, right?
It’s a look up not down track, famously, although I think it swings less than it did even if cloudy / humid. Like all English tracks though, there will be enough help for fast bowlers.
