Did think that Rahul’s innings left the acceleration too late but he didn’t do badly with Stoinis. The partnership looked abysmal because Stoinis was scoring well under a run a ball when needing two runs a ball. He should have been scoring faster earlier, I think but you can see how he got stuck consolidating given how bad his team mates were.

Stoinis showed little intent. It was most odd.
Rahul was acutely aware that once the RRR went north of 10 he had to act. (Given the spin and Archer's 2 overs to come). He chose not to and saved his best shots till the game was done. |

I also think Rahul left it too late but he only faced two dot balls from when Stoinis came in at 13.4 and one of those was in the final over when he refused a single. Although arguably, that just goes to show that he left it too late.
