wait till that sun starts to sink though that will cause it to darken appreciably. But yeah an hour from here makes it 5.21 and maybe a few more mins after that with these conditions.

comms saying they won't be comfortable not hooking. why? surely they can play more than one way. I could when I played. It's called mental toughness ffs

Yeah and if you need to take one on the body you do, like Wanger there. I like his style. I did hook but often enough you duck or sway or whatever so the ball does/did not hit your noggin. In the start of my career I was still helmetless and that made sure you avoided it at all costs.

If the captain told me not to hook I wouldn't dare go against him!

We had green rubber pimpled gloves in my first school bag! Never ever saw a helmet and would not wear one now!

I was only 16 in the first team, so there was a fear factor + respect for him and the team

draw is moving out to 2.70. its going to move quickly if these 2 can stay in at some stage. about 17 overs to go so that is quite a move per over. When is it going to start going?

wonder if Tim can sh1t himself in the middle. That would cause a 10 min delay while he got changed

That there was a question mark about Southee is PATHETIC.......Malcolm Marshall played 1 handed after he broke his arm.   And hung about.

I am a black cap today!

Wallet says NZ

Heart says England deserve to lose the series as we need change. A win here would paper over the cracks.

aren't we all. not so much with the rugby with them coz we smash them almost at will, but in the cricket yeah love to beat them and wipe their smug faces in it.

there are a whole bunch of England fielders and support staff fielding beyond the rope around the ground. funny. there to get the ball back quickly but it looks crazy.

Yeah these 2 and also De **** and Watling against the second new ball showed that its not that hard really. Shows that the top order really missed a trick for NZ. It should have been easy as.

That was funny, Root was fielding on his knees, right on the edge of the circle. Never seen that before.
