Just been watching this live at 5.30am
Scotland need shooting, the West Indies need shooting, the Umpire needs shooting! The commentators need shooting but to be fair it didn't look like a wash out! Really Scotland should have been in front of the DL par score. Only themselves and the Umpire to blame! I would just like to ad ha bloody ha. Old timers like me need the West Indies in the World Cup. Scotland should have been there in their stead! tought tittie! For the Administrators of the game. Some of these " minor " nations should be there too. Afghanistan would have complemented the World Cup and the teams that beat them were worth their place. Very sad. We do not need two groups of six or whatever. I remember when Zimbabwe I think had India at 17-5 at Tunbridge Wells before Kapil Dev scored 175! They went on to win the World Cup! We could easily have 4 groups of 4 again. Good for the game, good for business, good for tourism, good for tv. Any game with Zim, Afghan, Scotland or whoever could allow for £10 tickets. Great TV today. Ordinarily would feel sorry for Scotland but well I can't be! |
