An update from Firdose at the Newlands: "Still raining, rain blowing in north-west and the breeze seems to be bringing more rain. Plenty of water on the outfield."

Complete washout today and we should have an exciting finish, all 3 results in play

I can finally leave the house, prices ought to be relatively stable for next few hours.

We may well get the last session. Last time this happened the rain clung to the mountain most of the day, then the sopper broke down, but somehow they got some play (enough for SA to win the match and save my bacon!).

Possibly not then.

I rather fortunately covered my draw lay on a spike up to 20. So i am in reasonable shape, albeit for modest amounts.

I don't expect any more rain. But CT might be a place where you get onshore mizzle.

Anyone else think the draw looks incredibly large here?  Normally it's the other way round but can't see saffers going out all guns blazing just yet - lose a couple of early wickets and might slow right down.

Draw probably goes shorter. 18 wickets needed in 200 overs. We should see a result IMO.

Yup.  Backing here - will probably lay at 6.x

Agree , think the draw has been overpriced all game, still big as Nigelpm has said. In fact in my opinion only two results, are an India win or a draw.
Steyn out, India will never bat as bad as they did in the first innings. Evev allowing for extra overs its only a 3 day wicket and if SA lose just one wicket they will shut up shop.

Saffers lost Steyn at the WACA just over a year ago and still bowled Aus out.

shutting up shop doesn't look easy or a viable option.

Saffers still have 1 more quality bowler than they did then too in the shape of Morne Morkel.
