Pakistan bowling operated in a different league this tourney. Only team to get reverse swing and if im not wrong also the only team to get conventional swing(read that only southee got it to swing briefly against bangla?)
Other than the first game, they bowled teams out for something like 230, 210, 158 and a similar score against SA. Great to see bowlers dominating in the era of flat track bullies. |

I thought Pak were ahead when I went to sleep around the 30 over mark in the Pak innings, but thought India would get reasonably close.
Would have made more on an India win, but spread my green in the outrights and made a decent profit all the same. |

5.35pm: The Pakistan players have got their white jackets on, the trophy is being passed around among them, the green-clad faithful are revelling in the stands. Never mind Panicstan, they were Pukkastan today - pure, passionate and pretty much perfect. Let "Dil Dil Pakistan" ring out across The Oval, the underdogs have walked off top dogs today

Don't think so, wouldn't stake my life in it but i'm 99% sure that's how it read. You're not telling me they haven't done that on purpose, it'd be impossible to prove, but they know what they're doing. Got me mad anyway!!

The big surprise to me wasn't that Pakistan bowled out India cheaply, but they managed to post such a big score batting. Was not expecting that.

Whisperingdeath 18 Jun 17 04:25 I am going to give this a miss. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to watch the game so despite my view that Inida will win convincingly also have a nagging feeling it might be Pakistan's " turn ". I'd rather enjoy the game for what it is than worry about F and C. That is a sorry state of affairs but that is how I feel about it and that is all I got to say about that! |

Didn't really cost me anything, but I obviously under-rated Pakistan.

I treat the last match of a tournament like I treat the last day of a Test. Go all green if you can. And I could easily, after having backed India for quite a bit as high as 6 about a week ago.
