Confidence in what you do is hard to maintain when you've lost a packet. I can't preach on this as it really messes me up - losing that is.

I can stand big losses fairly well and have had a monster few months so still reasonably confident overall but a series of moderate to big losses, like I've just had, does mess me up a little. I find it a lot easier to swing when I'm winning.

That looks like game to me. Surprised you can still have any kind of bet on England, to be honest.

Parnell can hit it but he's not someone you'd want to be batting sensibly then cutting loose.

We'll see. It's not a totally irrational bet. AB still there.

SA look weakish if Morris is 6 and Parnell 7.

Loads of pressure on the top order. Often 6,7 and 8 win the games.

And to be pedantic I could get out of 1.29 now (well could have!).

feel a bit sorry for AB there. completely stitched up by utter sh1te from Miller, Duminy and Morris.

very very gettable total when they were only 3 down at the 30th over.

That's the pattern of AB in chases in my memory he makes a middling to decent score and then gets out!...I reckon his stats show he's more suited to batting 1st in 1dayers,

he looked fine Cardinal - he had his hand forced there. Had to get the lions share of runs, as he can expect Waleed and boomboomletmehereyousaywayo get them home

By the way I'm quite happy with my position. Odds and amounts I've laid at recently don't affect me that much. It would have been nice to collect ab it more. And I must get out out of the habit of losing money at the end of innings.

An excellent performance from England, Batted very very well and bowled well also, against a team that had won 14 OF its last 16 ODI'S. Can we do it when it really matters. lets hope so, but England should be 1 of the top 3 favourites to win this, although I don't think they should start as Favs, which they are.

Oh yes, they are definatly bottlers and they usually do this in semi-finals, but they are still a very good side. In just an any old ODI I don't think they are, England just played really well. Australia, India and England are my top 3 favourites for the Champions Trophy.

cricketnut..they've had some awesome sides in the past and contrived to come up short
v good performance today from England
series of good stands and bowlers performed with credit
Aussies can choke as well
should be a good compo

Yes your correct, SA have quite a few match winners and I agree they have choked on many occasions, especially these big tournaments, World Cups and Champs Trophy. Really looking forward to this tournament, as there are none of the minor countries playing, which makes the tournament longer for little reason, other than to knock them out. The tournament lasts for 23 days and its all the proper Test countries playing against each other in 50 over cricket, it should be a fantastic tournament. Lets hope for good weather and plenty of great matches.

i've been mega into the football of late especially La Liga and Serie A so much so that i didn't watch the IPL,which i love save for the final which was a great match..the low scoring ones are always better imho for drama

but i nicked a bit trading this match and like you will savour the tournie as cricket is such a great sport
