I admit that there's a bit of pocket talking in thinking this is bad cricket and Pakistan are quite right in wanting a big score and to put some wear into the wicket before bowling but scoring so painfully slowly makes no sense to me even with those objectives in mind, because I think you're actually less likely to get a good score batting so defensively.
Having said all that, I've very high hopes that they'll tear through the WI upper order like a hurricane through a wet paper bag and render it all rather academic. |

After the last wicket the draw moved 1 tick yet the draw moved 70 ticks when Pak were put into bat first. This stinks to me.

Again it may be pocket talking and we have had some time lost and some slow scoring but the draw is amazingly short at 2 right now. We've effectively only had a little over four sessions of play given that there's the chance of making time up on three more days and it certainly doesn't look like Pakistan is getting a closing the game out kind of a score.

If they can they would bat till they are all out..Declaration is not in Misbah's character but I have been surprised before..so either Windies get them all out else I see them batting as long as they can
