Can't pick a winner at this stage, very evenly matched for me

Don't see an angle in this yet, although would have been a good call to get on DD at 2.1 or higher, I think, especially now they've shortened post toss. Going back out again now though.
By:
Delhi won the toss and bat again. Market struggle to know how to react to that again.
By:
People dont understand why the batting second bias exists. It is because most overseas players are batsmen so chasing is easy.
It is a different story with Delhi where their strength is in the bowling. |
By:
Add in dew and the fact its easier to bat when you know the total you need
By:
But batting first is a bonus at Delhi especially in day games
By:
Have to lay KKR at these prices
By:
I'm on DD now at 2.16 as think this game is a coin toss or close to it. One thing that would worry me slightly with whichever of these sides batted first is the fairly high potential of a fizzle against a good attack leaving very little chance of defending.
By:
Just backed Delhi at average 2.17 was expecting them to go higher though.
By:
Game is a coin toss for me on paper but DD have the advantage of batting first, prices should be the other way around for me

Waiting for market to correct and take me to greeeeeeeeeeeeeen

Couldn't help but notice that your system has KKR rated higher than Delhi but you tipped Delhi. How does that work? |
By:
Home advantage and the odds on offer. Also Delhi has been has improving more recently. It is not just the raw rating that is used.

Where is forum guru AYT?

So your systems takes those into account? If so what odds did it come up with?
By:
Delhi around 53% chance. So 1.89. The thing is it is not highly accurate but gives a clue of the value.
In horses I might have one at 3/1 and it 6/1 on here. It fair price is probably more like 5/1 rather than 3/1 the computer thinks. |

hello fxearner.

Thing with modelling is you don't have to be that good at it (obviously is difficult) to use it to discern value as long as you pick occasions when it tells you market price is wrong. As in you can be less good at predicting true odds than exchange market / bookies but still do well out of piling in when there's a big disparity.

We dont need models when we have Grantcking

Just got on Delhi because they are North of Evens & Batting 1st and Sam had a good knock last time so he should be filled with confidence.....and those are the 3 reason I got on them.

What a brilliant shot

I think the DD's are a very well balanced side with big hitters at the top and a very good bowling attack. I expect them to be a top 4 side.
This could be a close game. Buy low sell how. Flip flops and all sorts I am out as Mrs 'Death is here and annoying me. OH KKR could actually collapse too. Be careful of a train wreck particularly if chasing a big total. |
By:
under 106.5 12 overs is my only bet
By:
Swallowed my last post but was just saying how odd it was that a rain of 4s didn't move the market much (thinking market just felt, hmm, confirmed road) but now a quiet over has dropped DD further. IT noticed that 4 though.

Cashed out to leave a free bet on Delhi will go back on if a wicket.

Made a bit of a rick on outright winner with Delhi. Only two teams I've traded are Delhi and Kings. Both teams I'd backed, laid at shorter odds then backed again at higher odds. When they played each other I decided to lay to back one of them. I chose to lay Delhi.
