but I am guessing he will be out soon. Looks like his mobility is limited.

Market quite excited he's come in: price not far from before the wicket fell.

NZ were 2.7 when the wicket fell

Suppose he can hobble about painfully between balls if he lasts any, that would help kill time

Imrul will be trading in 4's, 6's, or not moving. Great hook shot for 4 first ball.

Didn't say the same! Draw went from 1.7 to 2.3 back to 1.9 I think.

game over now, number 11 in, plenty of time for NZ to get runs etc.

It was Sabbir that was out. Kayes not going to last long I think.

Jesus! Was just thinking about breathing easily then two go in no time. Need Kayes and Mushy to bat for 10 overs for 10th wicket.

Mushfiqur still in Hospital I just heard...

Sabbir slashing at a ball he could have left, caught behind. Surely Rahim won't make it back from hospital in time so 1 more wicket ought to end innings.

Often happens.

Think I'm screwed along with the draw here. Even 5 more overs potentially brings it back to life. Need Mushy back!

Bastard partisan Kiwi doctors.

Yeah they are not letting him back easily in light of the Phil Hughes incident.

Kayes hits a 4 but straight after is very uncomfortable.

RRR around 3.5 if wicket goes straight away, chasing 209 off 58. Don't think it's enough runs for long enough to test them unless early wickets fall in Kiwi chase. Make it 220 off 50 though...

Number of overs also very uncertain, of course.

you lose 2 overs for change of innings as well..... so make that 56 overs.

Was counting that. So 217 off 57. That's too easy, I fear.

draw should be 15's. So much time for NZ to score 217.

160 on that deck, should be a steward's enquiryLaugh

We'll be at the halfway stage for the day 10 min into the NZ innings. When was the last time a team bowled 57 overs in half a day?

Still Bangla need early wickets to have some chance.

Against a decent attack on a track doing anything you'd think the draw perfectly possible with RRR over 3.5 in a test for over 50 overs but not this attack and this track. They won't even have to take many risks.

Did have two retirements hurt, to be fair.

Also NZ will go for it, but just been doing some thinking... a few wickets fall.... get watling in with someone else.... it could slow things down. 10 may be closer to the mark.

They may take at least a few overs to find enough subs too.

I am sure NZ will be more than happy to provide their own fielders :D

Great match, just not for me. NZ hold on for draw 9 down needing 30 more run with both sides guilty of time wasting the only fit way for it to end, I feel.
By:
detraveller
When: 16 Jan 17 01:23
As much as i want it to end in a draw, it doesn't look like that.
