That's what I said, they will probably be bowled out and set India under 150.
Way too many variables at the moment. India could bat for 30/40 overs and then it all changes again.
Things will only become clearer once India's innings finishes as they will definitely not declare!

Yadav won't have his ton by lunch - then they might as well get 600 - then Kohli might as well get his 250 - then yadav might as well get his 150 etc etc.

that draw isn't going to move for ages
i have absolutely no confidence in England even lasting the day out TBH. Ive done my conkers again.

lay some inns runs to hedge it a bit?

If Ashwin & Jadeja require a rest or whether they can stay on rest of day may be huge factor in whether something sensational could be on the cards.
Nothing sensational can happen in this Test, as England can only get a draw or a loss

Final Outcome is less important than what the market does on the way there!

i'd like to say that reverse sweeping ashwin out the rough outside your leg stump with 3 overs remaining in the day in a match you're trying to save is probably not the best shot selection.but it's so f*cking obvious it probably doesn't need saying.
I actually don't mind England having been dynamic this innings on the basis that runs help to save the game; that just defending isn't going to prevent wickets and that there was an outside chance of getting enough to have a prayer of defending say 130 or 140. What's grates with me is that they've played this way with a draw possible but made no real attempts to step up the scoring when the first test was there to be won with 10 wickets left on a deteriorating track already over 150 runs on.
Anyway, am winning £800 on India so apart from having got a lay in at 2.9 at the start of an Indian train, I'm not unhappy.

You are right pxbMy mistake ( one of them ) was thinking the pitches were like minefileds. Clearly they were not. The market has had draw pretty long pre match every time and not a single track has been unplayable, although the batsmen on both sides have rather exceeded expectation on this, which really has offered quite a lot to spin. Certainly the England spinners have been poor by comparison with Ashwin and Jadeja but then they are poor by comparison with Ashwin and Jadeja.

After making a killing on the first test, I have a net loss on the the next 3.
Two collapses by England in the first innings killed my positions in Tests 2/3 & in this Test I held onto my England position until I had burned all my green.
My worst mistake was having a huge green at Vizag at the start of day 5 and not laying a single penny off. The Cook wicket in the last over of day 4 cost me thousands & I was too stubborn to take a lesser profit. Ended up with diddly squat as we collapsed so quickly. All in all been a terrible last month with the Aus/SA series!!

yes but the point is Rashid has not really been able to bowl India out when it was needed. Ashwin and to a lesser extent Jaddu have come up trumps when needed. I mean 621 and the previous test when it was all to play for.I am not blaming Rashid. I don't think he is a bad bowler either. I just think he lacks control at times and a good spinner can bowl on a flat pitch. I don't think Rashid can but he is only 28. he has got what it takes. He just needs to master his craft and that for me means practice, practice, practice. Moean should also realise that if he could develop his bowling he could cement his place in this side which will not be secured by his batting. Again, he has it all but needs to get better.I think any criticism of either of them is very harsh. Both need to be congratulated and encouraged to improve.
Cook hasn't really shown much confidence in him, which shows in his bowling too
