Wizz, good advice. One of my faults is I tend to fix on one thing. In this case getting my big Pak red down. Rather ignored the draw. Still, almost 250 overs to go.

How bad is your Pak red??? It can't be that bad.

I'm not expecting Draw to drop to 5's but some downward pressure would be nice.

Why was Guptill dropped??? I can understand why but he should have had a fair crack at playing 4. A change in a players mind can do no wonders.

I could never work out why they kept persisting with him opening???

I like what Doull is saying about re LBWs & how to make decisions re DRS. See where the ball goes and if it goes up/down off the pad

Amazing, new rule change and all the collapses going on yet nothing to do with the new rule.

If this is a draw I'll be furious with myself for not holding on.........the huge yawning gaps on the ladder means not good to be heavily exposed here.

N.Z now look BIG but you normally find a decent middle order when early wickets fall.

Get out now while you can. It will only get worse once the Eng game starts.

Went to bed with slightly hopeful draw lays up in both games. Can't believe Pak 80 in 50 overs. Got my big draw lay at 6 so very content about that: only £800 red NZ now.

Ironically, if they'd scored a remotely normal number of runs, the draw would be well in play but the lead is so small they need to bat most of tomorrow too.

I am sure it is difficult batting but Pakistan will be facing a new ball with a very small lead and a long tail! The new ball could be takien tonight or tomorrow morning and if it is cloudy you would not hope for too many from Pakistan!

These commentators do my head in! Why do we need a Test match over 4 days?  5 days is about right! Leave it as it is!

Was saying four day tests esp stupid in NZ where you often lose a large chunk of a day to rain.

Admission should be free al,ost in many contries. they get their money from TV. Fill up the grounds. I hate screaming kids but at least there is some atmosphere in India at the moment. I can't for the life of me understand why their Test Matches aren't full considering they used to have 100,000 at Edeb Gardens for Test Matches!

These Kiwis are strange fellows. They have sun hats on when it looks like it is minus 5 but the sun is out. In England people would be stripping of naked if the sun came out!

Oh Misbah!

At least Shafiq will not die wondering. Pakistan need some runs now. They let NZ dominate for too long but to be fair it looks difficult batting out there.

They need to take action on their run rate issue, that's at the root of Pak's trouble here.

Misbah got out addressing it. It's a tough balance although I agree that you really shouldn't be crawling along that painfully once set, even on a tough track.

yes. Pakistan need to get to 200-230 to have some sort of chance but you can't really see it.

You can't play slow like that at the start and then have the middle order play like p*ssies, scared of getting hit by the ball.

Needn't have worried about not covering the draw.
