I had 500 on Aus in that test at 30s after day 1. The next day I was flying back from Munich and my flight was delayed 3 hours. By the time I got back to the UK Aus were 60s and traded out but while I was flying Aus hit 10s.
Turned out to be the worst flight delay in history.

I started with a @2.04 lay of AUS, then when SL tog the mug decision to bat first I backed heavily AUS @1.9.
In the first overs it didnt look too bad for the SL so I shorted AUS big @2.00 just before the wickets started to fell and AUS were @1.26 in no time.
You cannot hardly find someone with so many mug bets in a row. Mendis saved 80% of my losses. Good guy.lol

I've certainly not had the balls to do more than marginally improve my position each trade. Having lost a grand each of the last two tests I've not been as brave as I ought to have been here. Getting a draw back at 2.3 pre game then getting caught with another one at 5.2 puts you on the back foot though.

When your a few hundred down on day 1 it's not so bad as it can be made back up in no time but to be so far down after just 1 hour is a killer. Especially when your last two tests have been red.

Fair play to Juce for getting it back.

Yep, exactly my position. As I said way up the thread, I'm normally happy, perhaps too happy, to go a long way red early in a test but this didn't feel like a game that had a lot of legs for a draw at the end of day 1. If I'd been well placed (say my lays back of the draw had been taken pre play), I think I'd have made a packet on draw trading but it's so tough to take more on a long odds when you a) think the odds are too short and b) they could very easily fly out because the game is already quite far advanced.

Why don't bet fair settle innings runs markets for totals that have already been passed? I have money tied up in over 150 and over 200 Sri Lanka 2nd innings runs markets

Im on SL here but unsure of what im happy with in regards to a target, its clearly turning and im thinking if SL can get to say 240 they will be slight Fav's?

240 should be good enough but personally looking for 270, any more and we are getting into draw territory. I'm on S.L for a 240 red, Other results are big reds.
Very happy to have runs on the board tbf.

I'm guaranteed my longest losing run in tests in the last 14 months of 3, It's hurting.
At least I have a little green on S.L on the exchange but my bookie bets put me into small red.

I hope the forecast does not bite me in the arse like it did for myself and others in the last Eng test against S.L.

I just dont see the draw happening, not the way this has played out and cricket in general in the last few years, im green on the draw just about but will be hoping for as many runs as possible tomorrow, i fear SL will be blown over quickly with a fresh Starc and new ball so 240 is the target im hoping to reach as it is turning and could defend it!

Draw is about the right price considering every tea time situation, The draw does look far Away off but S.L have nothing to lose from this point and could be a massive scalpe for them which is why they will go for the win as opposed to any draw.

But on the other hand if S.l have the chance of putting the game away beyond Aus then I'm sure they will take it.

This is a very cunning test with loads of value involved and as a trading point of view I would be backing S.l all day long with a small back on the draw.

You know what they say, runs on the board or wickets to be taken.

i'm with the sooner than the later.

If Aus win this then fair enough and I wiil be 2K down but Aus price is a insult to short priced fav backers in tests.

Imagine how much you'd have made this test if you were in Kandy.

I screwed up my last draw back by accepting it far too low thinking the market was going to over react further to the early close yesterday. Turned out okay because my lay back at 6.8 has now been taken. How high had the draw got overnight? Actually, nobody answer that.
