the IPL is usually amazing, for some reason the groundsman are producing awful pitches

Is it just the pitches though?  Some of the shots played are just dreadful and some players show no application - what was Maxwell doing?

Alot of the "star" T20 batters have serious flaws and cant cope with difficult pitches

Was trying to reply saying that the batting had been gash too, albeit on a difficult track.

This non stop diet of T20 last few months has me longing for a Test Match or even a 1Dayer.

Laying runs was free money here.

I'd kill for a test match now.  Will probably get massively over excited in May and lose piles of cash on the England summer season having said that.

This innings has basically been a scissors abortion, hasn't it?

Wish I'd done it for more.  Thanks to jucel for supporting my view that this wasn't going to be high scoring.  From this point, it looks astonishing that 150 was lay able at 1.53, although there had actually been an over gone for double figures runs at that point.

A shot that came off!

Im saving my bucks for the tests too.

But I think there is HUGE money to be made in T20s so im not completely ruling it out. Fatslogger, we all love tests but sometimes T20 offers that opportunity that tests dont. Like laying runs this game.

I find the first 3 days of test cricket boring tbh, the prices hardly move unless something insane happens

sometimes but often, and this applies to a number of different sports, there's huge in value in taking advantage of people making up their minds too quickly.

You'd be surprised, the odds move far more on a wicket than in T20

Oh I almost never miss an opportunity to lose money betting on T20s but I'm a lot more competent at test matches, where I can read the game an awful lot better.

Don't think there was much liquidity in it.  I wasn't clever enough to display any interest in the really low scores but I got 150 at 1.53 and 140 at 1.33 both before the second wicket fell so the lower scores must have been level on banter on this thread low or even lower.

Why was 110 evens when there 8 down and it's been hard to score?

"level of banter on this thread low or even lower" even.
