Yeh, a lot of the western food is homemade by individuals so you get some really good artisan produce

I eat out a lot so it's all homemade. You don't really get ready meals, like in the UK.
Not much stuff comes out of a tin either.

Homemade steak and kidney pie with proper mash & homemade gravy, veg, about 2.50 quid
Homemade fish and chips with homemade chips about 2 quid
Full english about 2 quid
