There wasn't one in the BPL, BBL or PSL. None in the Asia Cup. The last one I can remember was in Sharjah - Pak v Eng Nov 2015? Might be worth a dabble |

They are definitely not the best website around and dont have any markets on cricket other than the match result.
However, one reason why so many players get their accounts banned or have to pay withdrawal fees is because of frequent depost/withdrawal. They have very low commission and no fees so they dont like anyone who makes them pay extra fees through frequent deposit/withdrawal. They also have very limited deposit and withdrawal methods. I don't have any complain other than the above two. |

I had really bad experience with matchbook. I used to arb them and hammer them. They made my life difficult and eventually closed my account. Other people may have different opinions of them, depending on how they used them. If you do have an account with them, or open an account with them tread cautiously.

Another point i posted which disappeared is that they allow CC Deposit but NOT withdrawal. So be careful if you are a CC user.

Despite Saffers losing today I like their chances.
Steyn, Rabada and Tahir very potent indeed. Duminy will have to bowl in India and not sure he's up to it. But if the pitches are really slow anyone will prosper with spin. |

If as expected we get spin friendly dry pitches then subcontinent teams could do rather better than some expect and conversely Aus, SAf, Eng and NZ could struggle. Not a prediction, but something to consider.

I think we will know by Wednesday if Pakistan is participating at all after the indian minister refused tp guarantee the security and another party threatened to disrupt the game.

Apparently domestic security is a state matter in India. Pakistan were disengenous asking the federal authorities for a guarantee. The same issue would arise in Perth Australia, where the Federal police have no jurisdiction outside the Perth airport and the port.
The problem is Himachal Pradesh is refusing to provide security after the recent attack on an airbase. The solution is to move the match to a state that doesn't object to hosting it and would provide security. |

Pakistan should have pulled out long time ago after India refused to play them in the UAE(perhaps the money is too good). Both these countries are a joke in world cricket, especially Pakistan.

Word is that there is a strong lobby asking for Salman Butt's inclusion in the team. I listened to the retired M Yousaf yesterday saying Butt is needed in the team, Butt himself visited the chief selector at his residence who then contacted his fellow selectors. Even the coach Waqar Younis has asked for Butt to be included.
There is also a very good chance that the team is under-performing because of amir's inclusion. There is strong criticism of Afridi who has tweeted that he wants the Prime Minister's help in settings things right. Afridi has refused to play if Butt is included but then Afridi doesn't merit a place in the team anyways so that is only a small hurdle to cross for Butt. In short, we will soon see Butt in action. The people these three guys worked for cannot afford to make them angry :D |

Well at todays prices, I would want to be on Australia at 6.8, they are the best side with plenty of power hitting and the Aussies know how to win. Pakistan at 15 would have a better chance than 14/1. India are going to be there at the semi-final stage for sure, but at 3.1 no thanks. England at 8.6 are far too short a price, because although this side, is a better side than some of the others we have sent to World Cups, we do not bat well, on turning pitches. Abdul Rashid, will bowl really well out in India, but we don't have any other real quality spinners.

Oh and South Africa at 6 are the biggest bottler of the lot, so the are a very poor price, on past performances.

fascinated to see what the wicket is like in nagpur tomorrow, given that it should provide an early indication of what india's groundsmen have been instructed to do.
by and large, IPL wickets are pretty "unindian", when compared to the doctored filth produced for home test matches, so before reaching any conclusions about who has the strength to exploit the conditions, i'd want to know exactly what those conditions are likely to be. |

Can't really argue with those and they are the top three in the betting. But NZ could be the fly in the ointment for India or Ausies. Not so confident of England (laid them for a little at 8.6) as I don't believe their bowlers are good enough. Fortunately for them they are in a relatively weak group with SL (recently poor but I'm hoping for improvement as I've backed them) and Windies who could have been very good with a full strength team but still have players to win games. |

NZ beating India or Aus looks a long shot and Banglas will be a tough nut as well.
I don't really know about England. Could be a bit of a dark horse if they make the semis. |

Don't know much about the slogit 'n run version of our game but had a couple of squid

I think England, NZ and even WI could have a great day against Ind, Aus or SA ( Jew factor, Batting first on a wearing pitch, chasing on a great batting pitch ). Bets on the favourites are always tempered as FREE money is a commodity limited to the filthy rich.

Foinavon, NZ's problem is they don't have a decent spinner, and I can't see a team without at least one getting to the semis when the games in lowland India start. My outsiders would be England, Windies and Banglas.

Just hoping for a run for my money pxb, could be a back to lay. Only small beer compared to what I would outlay on a test and not advising anyone to follow suit. England looks somewhat short but Windies are my kind of price.

Badree is very good, which is the reason a give WI a chance at the semis. Plus their batting of course.
Banglas are 40. They need to win their qualifying group first, but they are very short priced to do so. |
