Australia at 1.17. Too short I think. WI batting can be good in patches, and a Starcless Aus bowling attack not that threatening.
Hobart pitch generally good for seamers first day or 2 then reasonably good for batting. A bit of rain in the forecast.
WI could look a decent chance at some point, and trade much shorter than their current 20s. OTOH touring teams rarely do well first match in Aus. But no one ever got rich backing short pre-match Test match odds.

another 20 runs in about 10-15 minutes and have a quick dart at the tired West Indian players. Agree with Warney, West Indies body language looks shot, players with fingers in their pockets, no energy in the field, senior players not giving enough direction

The rabies joke certainly a lot funnier than WI's efforts in this game.
Comms were calling for a follow on yesterday, but that now seems unlikely. Anyone else but WI and I'd say the draw over 20 is worth a small back to lay. Matches here generally go into day 5.
Unsurprisingly have nothing matched on the match odds so far. Needs a good downpour for a day and a half. Some hopes. Layed 575 and 600 runs to small stakes and one cancelled the other. Lucky Voges didn't insist on going for 300 after lunch

That rain yesterday got me 100 odd green on Aus, which is more than I expected.
At what time did it rain pxb? I went to bed at the lunch break.
I only stayed up that late in the hope of seeing an early declaration.
I was asleep also, but the combination of WI not losing a wicket until the 8th over and the threat of rain sent Aus price over 1.2 twice. I'd laid Aus around 1.1 in anticipation. Play stopped by rain several times later, but WI had lost wickets by then and Aus price didn't move much.
Thanks for the information and well anticipated. My Aussie back pickets are much higher than that unfortunately.

Food for thought, if Aus players finish W.I off today could the players have a spell at their Big Bash teams starting next Thursday? There is no cricket until Boxing Day (Dec 26th)
If I was Cricket Australia administrator I would tell all the Aussie players to go back and represent their Big Bash sides, there are 8 fixtures before Boxing Day from Dec 17-Dec 23.
